Michelle Obama... tells tall tale to IOC about Olympics and her daddy's lap

Laughably stupid fib or creepy revelation from FLOTUS at the IOC’s Copenhagen Olympics “pitch festival”? If you haven’t yet heard, it was about our First Lady recalling how she’d sit all cozy in her daddy’s lap, watching Carl Lewis during the Olympics in 1984… when Michelle was TWENTY. Wonder if this hocum tale of hers stunned the IOC enough to tilt the scales against Chicago… after, of course, the city’s political corruption and its decay of infrastructure turned them off?

I think I stopped sitting in my father’s lap when I was about 7 or 8. Most DEFINITELY did not do it in my teens or 20s.

Typical that this “Daddy’s lap” fabrication of Michelle’s goes unnoticed by the fringe media, but there is blame being issued on Chicago not winning the 2016 Olympics bid. Guess who’s to blame, per Obama’s in-a-rut left-wing media? Yep, George W. Bush.

ROFL.

Reminder: Never let a good tear-jerker of a fabricated story go to waste…

Ok, here is the quote:

Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad’s lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis, and others for their brilliance and perfection.

Now, let’s take a look at this.

Michelle Obama was born in 1964.

Olga Korbut, was in the Olympics in 1968, 1972, and 1978, when Michelle was 4, 8, and 12. Makes sense.

Nadia Elena Comăneci made her perfect 10 as a gymnast in 1976 and competed again in 1980. Michelle was 10 and 14.

Carl Lewis was in his first Olympics in 1984. Michelle, a 20 year old woman, was sitting on her dad’s lap cheering. Ummm… that’s odd.

Obviously, she left Princeton University to head home just for the occasion.

…Carl Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984… when Michelle Obama was 20 years old, so that’s an odd way for any 20-year-old girl not named “Mackenzie Phillips” to spend an evening.

I realize that sometimes girls like to jump up on daddy’s lap for old times sake — but probably not to settle in for an entire evening of Olympic viewing. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that her entire story was written by somebody else who didn’t bother to calculate their years. What a shocker.

But in fairness to Michelle, maybe she wasn’t referring to the ‘84 Olympics. Lewis also competed in the Olympics in ‘88, ‘92 and ‘96. But that would only make her story weirder, I suppose.

Mrs. Obama was 20 years old when Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984.

Senior White House adviser and Chicago slumlord overseer Valerie Jarrett promised earlier this week that “there wouldn’t be a dry eye in the room” after FLOTUS spoke.

She probably wasn’t expecting tears of… laughter.

Mrs. O is looking more and more like Mrs. Clinton every day.

…Michelle Obama spewed her emotional fabrications to the IOC on what the Olympics meant to her. With prayerful hands together, she spoke emotionally, from her heart of hearts, pleading to the IOC, justifying why Chicago was uniquely qualified, above all others, to be the home of the 2016 Olympics…

Like Al Gore’s memories of his Mom singing the Union Label song to him as a little boy, Geraldo’s hallowed ground, John Kerry’s seared memories of places he’s never been, Hillary’s heroic exploits, diving into hostile territory, ‘hot LZs’ with enemy fire all around, Tom Harkins’ ‘fighter pilot’ heroics or Joe Biden’s academic records, Ms. Obama has made a damned fool of herself and anyone listening with outrageous indifference to the truth or reality.

While Michelle Philips recent confessions of having sex with her father, starting the night before her wedding, and regularly thereafter, for years, it seems possible that Ms. O could have still been sitting on Daddy’s lap when she was 20 years old. Odds are, Michelle O’Liar is just another Al-Franken Lying Liar married to one of the Lying Liars That Tells Lies.

Michelle-O isn’t the only one in the family with “faulty” memories. Some head-scratching “revised history” tales from Barack Obama, as pointed out in a Hot Air post last year:

In his speech commemorating the 42nd anniversary of the march on Selma, Alabama, he credited the march with his existence — even though he was almost 4 years old at the time:

What happened in Selma, Alabama and Birmingham also stirred the conscience of the nation. It worried folks in the White House who said, “You know, we’re battling Communism. How are we going to win hearts and minds all across the world? If right here in our own country, John, we’re not observing the ideals set fort in our Constitution, we might be accused of being hypocrites.” So the Kennedy’s decided we’re going to do an air lift. We’re going to go to Africa and start bringing young Africans over to this country and give them scholarships to study so they can learn what a wonderful country America is.

This young man named Barack Obama got one of those tickets and came over to this country. He met this woman whose great great-great-great-grandfather had owned slaves; but she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that the world as it has been it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child. There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don’t tell me I don’t have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don’t tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama.

The first march on Selma took place on March 7, 1965 (there were three of them). At the time, Barack Obama was three and a half years old. Now, Obama also mentions the Birmingham march as part of this speech — but that took place in May 1963. Obama would have been 20 months old when Dr. King led that demonstration.

That’s not the only bit of fabulism here. Obama’s birthdate is August 4, 1961. It doesn’t take a doctor or a math whiz to calculate his conception as sometime in 1960 — before John Kennedy took office. In fact, it might have taken place on Election Day, when Kennedy won the presidency. That would tend to indicate that Mom and Dad met sometime before the African airlift that Obama credits for his birth.

In the spirit of Michelle-O’s wacky “Daddy’s lap Olympic memories” and “all things Olympic,” here’s a hilarious Olympics blooper video… some silly gaffaws on a Saturday morning.
