Regular Americans Vilified by Congress More Than Ever Before: How DC Politicians See the World (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on October 8, 2009
The short, thought-provoking video below was created by Americans for Limited Government.
As Carter Clews points out, many of our public servants are not serving the public as of late. They’ve been attacking and maligning millions of Americans because these citizens, these concerned Americans, oppose the Obama power-grab of forcing through government-run health care. Americans are being vilified by our elected officials in Congress more now than they have ever been before all of American history… because they are speaking out against ObamaCare, out-of-control spending of taxpayers’ money, and other government takeovers. Chilling.
How Washington Politicians See the World: A Special Message from Carter Clews, Americans for Limited Government
Keep attending those tea parties and those town hall protests. Keep calling your congressmen, or faxing, or emailing him or her. Don’t let up—be civil, be polite, but don’t let up. We have countries such as Honduras, Cuba, Venezuela, and others as current-day examples of what government tyranny can do to decimate a nation, to silence its citizens. To destroy liberty.
We mustn’t let our government think that we’ve resigned ourselves to their will for us to be micromanaged and taxed to death with socialized health care. There are many good, decent men and women in Congress who are listening… many who are standing up to the socialist bullies in the House and the Senate to defend the will of the majority. We must let them know that we support them, we acknowledge their brave efforts.
Let your voices be heard, even if the fringe media ignores or mocks you. Even if a handful of members of Congress continue to label you a brownshirt, a Nazi, a racist, an evil monger, Astro-turf, or that by speaking out, you are un-American. Respect and defend our nation’s freedom of speech.
Dissent is not unpatriotic. It is the very foundation upon which our nation was conceived and forged when the citizens decided to choose liberty over tyranny. Many lost their lives in doing so.
The fight is not over, not by a long shot, but we, the majority of Americans, are slowly gaining in the battles. The battles against the very leaders we elected. How twisted is that?
The 2010 elections are getting closer with each passing day. They’re still a year off, but we are made of strong, tenacious stuff, we patriots who are passionate about America and preserving all that makes her great. We won’t become complacent, as those in Congress are hoping, we won’t become lazy or weary in our quest to protect our freedoms.
“A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.” —Patrick Henry
“We’ve gone astray from first principles. We’ve lost sight of the rule that individual freedom and ingenuity are at the very core of everything that we’ve accomplished. Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.” —Ronald Reagan
Americans have not yet begun to fight. We’re motivated.

Excellent Post Admin !
Reagan’s comment is especially timely, given the fact that in that era the Carter administration was in the process of attempting to take our economy to it’s knees.
Obama makes Carter look like a piker !
2010 elections can’t come soon enough, in the mean time we keep the pressure on.
These politicians will begin to campaign next year for their seat in congress again, thinking we have short memories.
I say CLEAN OUT THE CESSPOOL AND START OVER !!!
