California Sen. Barbara Boxer... 'RNC Michael Steele as harsh as the Taliban'

Always a class act, that Sen. Barbara Boxer.

NOT.

She’s got the reputation among her colleagues for being “difficult” and “abrasive,” and those are the kinder appraisals they have of her.

Most of us would have assumed they would have also called the Democrat senator from California “queen of the b*tches” and “arrogant, idiot racist.” I mean, others have, so why not? Click here and here and here if you aren’t familiar with some of Sen. Boxer’s snotty, inexcusable comments and behavior. I’m sure there’s droves more that haven’t been captured on YouTube.

Yes, Barbie, of course RNC Chairman Michael Steele is as “harsh” as the Taliban… especially when Steele beheaded that… er, uh… especially when Steele killed those soldiers with that roadside bomb… oops… uh, we’ll come up with something that Michael Steele did that actually was as “harsh” as what the murderous, tyrannical Taliban has done.

This song is getting old. But let’s face it… Steele spoke out against Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize and is black, so Boxer couldn’t very well call him a racist. So she settled for the next “best” insult. Truly classless and disgusting.

To be frank, concerning “harshness of comments,” I thought Steele held back remarkably. Read what so many others are saying, Babsy, about Obama not having earned this international prize. HE HASN’T. They’re laughing their fannies off, here and in Europe, or bemoaning the audacity of it. Left-wing extremists are delighted, but no one else is.

There were many others on the list whose actual accomplishments, sacrifices, and courage in the quest of peace have been diminished by his receiving this for his mere intentions, for his speeches. Pres. Ronald Reagan actually accomplished plenty there, in addition to his intentions and soaring speeches. Yet Reagan never received this peace prize. Obama was nominated within 12 days after being inaugurated. Pretty fishy…

Who keeps voting for this hateful left-wing extremist witch? Did she draw the “short straw” on who would go on-camera and compare Michael Steele to the Taliban?

Next it will be Sarah Palin being compared to a whore… oops, Democrats have already done that. Or, Bush being compared to Hitler, Dracula, or the Joker… urggh, you’ve taken all those, too. Or Americans being referred to as Astro-turf, evil-mongers, Nazis, deranged, brownshirts, morons, un-American, or terrorists.

The last few insults have been flung by too many elected Democrats. And because of their “harshness,” based on Babs Boxer’s over-the-top parallel with the Taliban, then she would most likely say the majority of Democrats are like al Qaeda. Would that be a fair deduction, Ma’am?

Can we use this as a “teachable moment,” maybe, to settle two political matters that are hazy right now? One: Is the Taliban an enemy or not? Boxer seems to think yes, which is fine by me, but that’s very much not a melody from her party’s songbook. And two: Is it okay or isn’t it to compare the other party to terrorists? I’m fine with it — after hearing Olbermann liken the GOP to jihadis umpteen thousand times, it’s water off the back by now — but there are few things the left seems to enjoy than a good fake-outrage conniption whenever some Republican pol (or center-leftist!) breathes the words “Al Qaeda” and “Democrats” in the same sentence. Street fight, or being overcome by the vapors? Just pick one already.
