Halloween Spirit… Is ACORN Giving Advice to Democrats on “Cadaver Appointments” in Alabama?
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on October 16, 2009
Democrat zombies… just in time for Halloween.
Wonder if ACORN officials gave a consultation on this bizarre Democratic Party “cadaver appointment” in Mobile County, Alabama?
Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re the hands-down experts, after all, in registering hundreds, possibly thousands, of dead Americans for the 2008 presidential election. So, it seems that appointing a dead guy to be a member of a Democrat party panel would be a cakewalk for them. The “zombie vote” is nothing new for ACORN, let alone the Democrats.
From Gateway Pundit: Figures. Democrats Appoint Dead Man to Committee:
Alabama democrats appointed dead supporter Reynolds Smith Jr. to a party panel.
The AP reported, via Free Republic:
Reynolds Smith, Jr. was a stalwart Democratic voter in stark-red Alabama. But the Alabama Democratic Party overlooked another fact when it appointed Smith to an interim party panel: He died in November at age 83.
Party executive director Jim Spearman told the Press-Register Tuesday that the mistake was caused by outdated records. He said the party received Smith’s name from a 2006 list of candidates for the county committee and then used a voter list to verify him as an active voter.
This man died just about a YEAR ago. Have they removed the very-dead Mr. Smith from their voting records yet? Or will he be voting in 2010?
This would be outrageously funny… if I didn’t care about the American voting process AND if I were a Democrat. But I do and I’m not, so, hey, not laughing here.
And, yes, no joke, there are those in our nation who STILL desperately want these same Democrats to oversee our nation’s health care and tax us to the grave with their global warming mumbo-jumbo energy bill.
Yeah, right… In your “Nightmare-on-Elm-Street dreams,” baby… dollars to donuts they’d be insuring the dead and denying health care to the living, while racking up carbon credits flying all over creation to push for climate change awareness.
Ineptitude in action. Just ask the very-dead Mr. Smith in Alabama.

Just a note to the readers out there.
I heard Michelle Bachmann on the Glenn Beck’s radio show state that the banks that will not submit to requirements imposed by the U.S. Government as to lending policies to the folks that need help in buying a home, “lacking a down payment”, are subject to fines, UNLESS THE BANK CONTRIBUTES TO ACORN !
I respect Bachmann’s integrity and feel she would never have said that on national radio if it wasn’t true.
This is extortion, again, and another example of this administration blinding the American People as to what is happening behind the big green OZ face they are showing us.
What say you Admin ?
Good grief, this is an abomination.
Bachmann is an intelligent, conservative, patriotic representative of her constituents and her country, and like you, AFVET, I trust her and what she’s brave enough to tell the public. She has also alerted Americans in the past week or so that the congressional “defunding” of ACORN has a deadline, which few citizens may be aware of. Apparently, after October 31, things go back to normal (i.e., ACORN resumes getting taxpayers’ dollars). At least, that’s my initial understanding, but I’ve not fully researched this.
I’ll search around and see if I can locate either an audio or video of Bachmann on this ACORN garbage.
Thanks for the heads up!
Admin, you are correct on the Oct. 31 limit on the restriction to fund ACORN.
Michelle also stated that on Beck’s radio show that day.
Bachmann is a stand up fighter for the Constitution, and I respect all of her efforts to wrench this Country back from the socialistic policies this congress, and this administration is driving us toward.
She also mentioned on Beck’s radio show that Nancy Pelosi has placed a target on her back to defeat her in the 2010 election cycle, and according to Michelle, is raising money for Michelle’s opponent.
Sorry Nancy, the conservative philosophy is going to put you out to pasture.
