Crybaby Team Obama now begging Democrats to not appear on FOX News... when will this embarrassing whining stop?

This petty crybaby nonsense against FOX News from Team Obama just keeps getting better and better. Or worse and worse, if you’re still an Obama supporter.

First, the White House attacks the FOX News network. This goes on for a long while. Then, last week, a video on YouTube is discovered where White House Communications Director Anita Dunn professes her profound admiration for one of the most murderous dictators in all of history, Communist leader Mao Tse-Tung. Glenn Beck airs that video on his FOX show. Dunn says she was only joking (that’s your defense??) and is a victim of FOX lies and smear jobs. And now, the White House, using a taxpayer-funded arm of Pres. Obama, MoveOn.org, is whining and begging famous (or infamous) American Democrats to stay off FOX News. Not sure how effective that plan will be. Maybe Communist Dunn needs to jump to Plan C or D on her failing-fast damage control agenda.

This is so weird, so childish, so pathetically WEAK, that Team Obama sounds more like a mean bully kid who used to live down the street from us. If he didn’t get his way with a group of neighbor kids while playing, he’d punch one of them hard, grab his ball, and run crying to his mother that no one liked him. I’m sure she pat him on the head and gave him a cookie while she dried his tears.

But, this is our GOVERNMENT, for crikey’s sake. It’s big Goliath sniveling and complaining that little David kicked him in the toe.

Oh, boo hoo. Let’s give Obama a cookie, OK?

So, Pres. Obama and his minions see the challenge of FOX News disagreeing with the administration as more important to vanquish and malign than say, working on fixing the economy? Working on rising unemployment? Afghanistan war? Multi-tasking, you ask? Maybe. But I’d rather see efforts made by our president to resolve our economic freefall and improve the unemployment numbers before they drop lower (I’m sure Michigan would agree, since those folks have the highest unemployment numbers in the nation). This stupid war on FOX News because FOX doesn’t sing Obama’s praises is distracting the White House from the REAL issues and looks really petty and irrational. Next week, Team Obama may start begging conservative Americans to not listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al.

Even liberal news sources are getting embarrassed and angry about these whiny, nasty attempts by the White House to smear FOX, disregarding freedom of the press and freedom of speech provisions in our Constitution. Some are fearing that this will nail the coffin for the Democrat Congress in the 2010 election. For many Democrats who are up for reelection, panic is setting in. Harry Reid, knowing that his track record will sink him, has proclaimed that he will “vaporize” his GOP opponent to save his political skin. The only way to win is to wildly throw mud rather than boast of fiscal and social accomplishments (because they are few and far between). So, we can expect that ugly Democrat ads will predominate, since America is not buying into socialist programs.

As Mark Levin said last week on his zooming-up-the-charts conservative talk radio show, he has never seen so many Americans who are ITCHING to vote.

That’s a quote: “ITCHING.” And we’re still a year away.

So, to Team Obama, I implore: KEEP IT UP. If you’ve alienated Helen Thomas this week, think about it. By whining and flexing your muscles for another week, and threatening to shut down dissenters on TV, radio, and the Internet, next week you could alienate a majority of independents in the state of California.

POOR President Obama. Everybody is picking on him. Some people don’t understand how hard his job is. Others are just mean and selfish.

That’s the latest White House whine, as though the most powerful man in the world is a victim of sinister domestic forces beyond his reach.

The woe-is-me complaints suggest the occupant of the Oval Office, Nobel Prize and all, is feeling weak and small.

Yikes. No wonder the world is ganging up on us.

The point was driven home yesterday when Russia’s foreign minister told Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that Russia was not ready to impose tougher sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program. Shockingly, Clinton reportedly agreed new sanctions were premature.

Premature? Iran has been violating UN resolutions for years and is planning to get nukes and promises to use them.

What would be the right time to get tougher — when we see a mushroom cloud?

And sanctions, remember, are the “soft power” the administration prefers, instead of military action, which is so George W. Bush. But suddenly faced with resistance, Washington now finds even sanctions too rough.

The Nation is about as left-wing as they come… not good when The Nation smacks Obama. The title of the piece says it all.

From The Nation: Whiner-in-Chief: The Obama administration really needs to get over itself:

First, the president and his aides go to war with Fox News because the network maintains a generally anti-Obama slant.

Then, an anonymous administration aide attacks bloggers for failing to maintain a sufficiently pro-Obama slant.

These are not disconnected developments.

An administration that won the White House with an almost always on-message campaign and generally friendly coverage from old and new media is now frustrated by its inability to control the debate and get the coverage it wants.

As President Obama’s overall approval rating continues to slide, he cannot find much solace in Americans’ opinions on his handling of 12 different issues as he does not have a positive rating on any of these. The top one for President Obama is reducing the threat of terrorist attack with 41% giving his job on this a positive rating, down from 49% who said so in August.
