For cryin’ out loud, this guy is a sleazy fool, an utter disgrace as a representative of Congress.
Florida, did you really vote for him? I mean, REALLY?
I think Alan Grayson may have crossed one line too many. He may have lost his “Voice of the Democrat Party” trophy and “Irreverent Darling of the Democrat Party” title… couldn’t have happened to a classier guy.

Republicans and Democrats slammed Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) for calling Linda Robertson, an adviser to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, a “K Street whore” in a month-old radio interview that circulated on Capitol Hill Monday night.
“There’s no call for that language. No call for it. That’s absurd. If he was standing here now, I’d say that to him,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.)
“He’s out of control,” added Washington Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who is vice chairwoman of the House Republican Conference.
The remarks are the latest to surface in a string of controversial statements by Grayson, who said on the Alex Jones radio show that he believes Robertson, a former Enron lobbyist, is not qualified to pass judgment on intricate financial matters.
It’s clear that his colleagues’ opinion of him has suffered.
“Is this news to you that this guy’s one fry short of a Happy Meal?” asked Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.)
House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer defended Robertson, whom he said he knows.
“I think it’s inappropriate and unfair,” the Maryland Democrat said. He decried the “heated rhetoric” that he said interferes with the ability to solve problems.
Late last month, Grayson said Republicans’ health care plans were for Americans to “die quickly.”
Grayson, who is Jewish, later earned reproach from the Anti-Defamation League for referring to the health care system as a “holocaust in America.”

Signature Grayson “class clown” quotes from this bizarre interview with Chris Matthews include “blah, blah, blah, blah, blah”, “in danger of becoming the party of nobody,” “blood that drips from his teeth when he’s talking,” “angry because he doesn’t shoot old men in the face,” and “turn into a bat and fly away.” A CONGRESSMAN talks like this, making vampire references about a former vice president? This guy sounds like an amateur Rodney Dangerfield-wannabe who walked onto a Mel Brooks set and starts ad lib trash talking rather than someone who has been elected to the United States Congress. Maybe he’s auditioning now, trying out new material, knowing he’ll be kicked out by thinking voters next election.
It’s important to note that the spotlight-seeking Grayson did not actually address anything Cheney said. The truth hurts (and Cheney’s approval numbers are way up, as are those of the GOP), so rather than challenge or dispute what Cheney said about Obama’s failures on so many points, Grayson’s master plan was to make insulting “shooting men in the face” and vampire jokes instead.
What a moron. If I lived in Florida, I’d be crying about now from embarrassment.
He’s being undone by his own gargantuan ego and “Crazy Joe Biden” mouth. I’d say that the Democrat Party may actually “get” it now with this frat-boy buffoon. It’s very telling when Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner responds to the press that Alan Grayson is “one fry short of a Happy Meal”…

We’ve discussed that MANY times here. Rep. Joe Wilson apologized for that passionate outburst directly to the president. But liberals like you, Russell, are so desperate to defend another liberal man calling a woman a whore on the radio, an elected Democrat congressman, so you’ll pull out the “You lie” card whenever you can to deflect from a larger atrocity. Got anything to say about that, Russell? “You lie” with a heartfelt apology months ago is still worse to you than Grayson nastily calling a woman a “whore” on the radio with no apology?
BTW, I agreed with Wilson, as have millions of others… passionate talk or a spontaneous outburst like Wilson did (when Obama was LYING) when representing the people sometimes demands less decorum. If nothing else, he exposed the hypocrisy of the health care bill. Although Dems have sneaked the illegal alien provision back in. As I wrote months ago (yes, you ARE beating an old dead horse), I questioned Wilson’s venue for the outburst, but since he didn’t plan to do it, and he apologized and the president accepted that apology, no one should continue to PRETEND to be offended. So, Russell, please quit faking outrage. It’s silly.
And we make fun of Republicans here all the time, Russell… you obviously are a hit and run lib troll.
Don’t see any apologies from Grayson yet for calling this woman a “whore” on the radio. Nor for his “blood dripping from his teeth” reference to Cheney. Nor that Republicans are all Nazis.
And this “outburst” of Rep. Grayson’s wasn’t motivated by a higher calling. He was showboating, hogging the spotlight as he loves to do these days. He was torqued at this woman whom he thought he was smarter than on economic issues. So he was trying to prove he was the smartest kid in the class… by calling her a “K Street whore.”
Big difference. To most thinking folks, anyway.

These troops didn’t volunteer to go to Afghanistan, or Iraq, they follow orders do their duty, and die, and come home changed forever, and wait for our commander in chief to get off his campaigning, jet flying, arrogant ass and listen to the military commanders who know what has to be done to win, or get out.

Congressman Alan Grayson is a liberal attorney and seems to think that makes him smarter than everyone else. That he is above reproach and can whatever he damn well pleases. Insulting this woman, calling her a whore, because he doesn’t agree with her is only the tip of the iceberg. For him to spew that out on the radio makes you wonder what he says and thinks when he’s NOT in front of microphone or a TV camera.
He doesn’t have Florida’s best interest in mind. ONly furthering his own sorry-ass career and he shot himself in the foot with that comment.
