ACORN is suing 'pimp' James O'Keefe and 'prostitute' Hannah Giles who, while undercover, exposed ACORN corruption in six major city offices

Hannah Giles, half of the determined, intrepid duo of the “Pimp/Prostitute” undercover team that is bringing down the corrupt House of ACORN, has a terrific piece on Big Government this morning.

She gives the “LameStream Media” (chortle… her amusing term that I just may have to steal) a well-deserved smack-about for their continued lack of journalistic curiosity and lack of desire to dig up the truth for the American people. Especially with a story that is even juicier than that of Britney Spears’ on-again, off-again meltdown last year (remember that? The MSM was all over it for eons), or Lindsay Lohan’s ongoing meltdown (another fave of the MSM), or Paris Hilton’s jail sentencing (again, the MSM went nuts over this).

But that was 2008, pre-Obama. Seems such a long time ago…

Now, the vast majority of embarrassing exposés that are overhyped are linked to Republicans, those that are deemed worthy of any diligent fringe media coverage (how many times did we have to watch Gov. Mark Sanford cry on the evening news about his extramarital affair?). Barely a peep and nary a teary eye was broadcast about scumbag Democrat John Edwards’ illicit affair and discovery of his resulting love child. Even Kanye West’s outrageous insulting of MTV winner Taylor Swift got MUCH less air time on the network fringe media outlets than did Rep. Joe Wilson’s “You lie” outburst (for which he apologized without any crying). No media outcry and little coverage when Speaker of the Nancy Pelosi states that more than half of America, those that are conservative or who aren’t supportive of ObamaCare (which includes a growing number of offended registered Democrats nationwide), are unpatriotic.

To Hannah: You, James O’Keefe, and thousands of other young journalists in our nation will replace these dusty media dinosaurs. Keep marching on with your valiant quest to uncover the truth and expose corruption, young woman… America needs you.

Even if ACORN hates your guts about now. The fringe media, too… after all, you and O’Keefe scooped all the giant media dinosaurs. Scooped ‘em royally.

I would HATE to be known as the journalist who never saw the bigger picture, lacked the creativity and ambition to approach a story from a fresh perspective, and contributed to the apathy of an entire nation. And I honestly, from the bottom of my heart, think every wannabe and professional journalist has the same attitude.

So why aren’t they behaving accordingly? Fear? Comfort? A false sense of purpose?

I don’t know about the rest of the press corps but all of the above scenarios scream scandalous to me. They’d be worthwhile news.
