TELL CONGRESS “NO” TO THEIR HEALTH CARE MONSTROSITY
Rep. Michele Bachmann has called a rally for this Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the steps of the nation’s capitol at noon to decry the Democrats’ mutant health care bill… and then GO FIND YOUR CONGRESSPERSON, for a face-to-face communication against this health care bill. If you are able to attend, PLEASE DO SO. Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin and Jon Voight will be joining Rep. Bachmann at the tea party rally.
This latest version ObamaCare (some are calling it “PelosiCare”) is an utter mess of bureaucracy, increased taxes, fines, penalties, invasion of privacy, and government intrusion into every facet of an American’s life. From cradle to grave, this socialized health care bill will strip Americans of their freedoms and rights, as provided by our US Constitution, while grabbing an additional 18 percent of our nation’s personal wealth.
Health care reform is extremely important, but this bill is not the answer. It is an utter disaster. If you thought our health care system had problems now, this will make it ten-fold worse.
And the bill has doubled in size from what it was over the summer. It’s now 2,000 rambling, maniacal pages of government power grabbing. This ridiculous beast needs to be destroyed and the authors, after being admonished severely for the outrageous nightmare they’ve written, to go back to the drawing board and start afresh.

It’s of continual amusement to me that the two people with the biggest sets of brass balls on the political right are women, but that’s neither here nor there in the big picture — other than to say that the likes of Mitt Romney have to seriously shore up their raisinettes if I’m going to consider voting for any male for president in 2012.
Below is Rep. Michele Bachmann, the second most hated conservative woman who’s working on achieving the number one position, on Glenn Beck’s radio show earlier today, organizing a little trip to Washington, DC on Thursday to pay a house call on Nancy Pelosi & Company to discuss their unprecedented power grab.
Bachmann reminds everyone that congressional offices are public places, but as we saw a few days ago, “public” places aren’t always open to the public.
“This is about government control, not about health care.” Indeed. There’s no reason for members of Congress to come to tea parties when we can take it to them:”

Come to DC to look your Member straight in the eye. Tell them to keep their hands off your health care. If you can’t make it to DC, go to your Member’s district office. And, if you can’t do that at least call and email. Also, Americans for Prosperity is organizing a House Call to legislators district offices on Thursday at noon. It’s now the 11th hour… call, fax, email your congressmen. Go to DC on November 5th if you can. Email your friends links to this and other blogs that are exposing the Obama administration. Don’t let up. America and all the precious freedoms that she represents, that our founding fathers made sure were contained in our Constitution, are at stake, and she needs us now more than ever. We can undo much of the socialist agenda after Obama is voted out. It will be painful, but reversible.
This socialist health care plan is not reversible. And it is the single-largest dismantling of American freedom ever attempted by our government in our nation’s history.

This will be the litmus test for our elected representatives.
Levin took a call on his radio show last night from a woman that is flying from California to stand on the steps of the Capitol to look their reps in the face and say no to the health care bill in any way shape or form.
Beck took a call from a woman on a bus in transit this morning on the way to Washington.
There are hundreds of people in transit as we speak to WDC.
In my lifetime, I have never felt the need to become so aware of what is going on in Washington.
The people that are willing to take time out of their lives, and jobs to travel to WDC in order to personally confront the reps that are threatening their childrens’ future.
It will be interesting to see the results of the effort on Thursday, and any dismissal by the representatives of the peoples’ opinion, and efforts to confront them on a one to one basis.
I guarantee security will be invoked, and the “unwashed masses will be confined to the area outside the building”.
My guess is that the culprits know who they are and will scamper back to their chambers like cockroaches.
AFVET, this information gave me goose bumps. I’m up against numerous deadlines at work right now, and have not had a chance to listen to any talk radio shows this week.
Thanks HEAPS for this inspiring update on the people traveling to the nation’s capitol… I’m nearly moved to tears. And so proud of our fellow patriots! Let freedom ring!
If you think about it, please keep us all posted on DC and the growing crowds, OK? I know the Bachmann rally is still two days away, but there should be plenty of information that the fringe media is frantically burying.
I’m trying to stay on top of the NY-23 race (which, since I live in AZ, my boss just doesn’t understand… LOL). Polls, of course, are still open.
Buses are rolling toward WDC.
We’ll see what happens.
NY 23 will be interesting, as will Virginia, and New Jersey.
Hopefully no acorns. HA.

I am taking two days off of work and driving to Washington DC from Albany NY. We need to show strength and hold our elected officials accountable for representing the wishes of the people. We can make a difference, but only if you join the fight to save this country. Nothing will change if we don’t make it change.

Thank you. My boyfriend and I were both in the military. I retired from the Air Force and he retired from the Marines. We servied over 20 years each. We suffered many hardships being deployed repeatedly, missed times with our children, divorce, etc. As reservists these days and since my stint in Saudi Arabia in the 1990, being in the military is a full-time job. We do it because we want to make this country a better place for our children.
We feel it is not only our right, but our OBLIGATION to protect this country from all enemies, both foreign and domestic! We are both proud to be an American……..and…..we love Toby Keith!!!

This health care bill is a travesty. I hope tomorrow’s turnout is in the thousands.
As you likely know, I’ve been a long-time passionate supporter of our troops, and am always humbled by the devotion, honor, and integrity of our military. The finest and most courageous in the world. Yes, you are our heroes. Bless you for all that you’ve done for America during your time of active service, and for what you’re continuing to do at the Capitol building tomorrow. Wish I could be there! I’m sure that it will be amazing.

He and I went to Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concert this past summer here in Phoenix – Charlie Daniels Band still has the magic and my son had no idea that Billy Ray Cyrus had ever been anything beyond being Miley’s dad, ha ha.

The protest was very invigorating. It is wonderful to be part of thousands of American shouting in unison calling \Kill the Bill\ and \Can you Hear Us Now!\ The best part was when the crowd called out for \Naaaannncy\…….. \Naaaannnnncy\ Funny thing is, she never did come out. There were a lot of us concerned American’s there to see her but again, they ignore. I have now moved to phase II. My boyfriend and I will robo call the Senators EVERY night at EVERY office to demand they vote no against this bill. We began our robo calling on Friday evening and will continue to do so until they vote. We also remind our Senators that if they vote yes for this bill, we will make it our mission to vote NO for them at election time. Do the same, call your Senators every night at every office they have to let them know how you feel.
