When a whopping FIFTEEN times more absentee ballots are cast in Camden, New Jersey for this election than were for the presidential 2008 election, it is prudent and smart to be suspicious. How many ACORN offices are in Jersey? Were any of the absentee voters named after the Miami Dolphins or beloved cartoon characters?
New Jersey needs to demand voter accuracy and accountability ASAP. With the criminal investigations going on about voter registration fraud and actual voter fraud of ACORN employees across the nation (as well as SEIU and all the “Baby ACORN” organizations), voter fraud during any tight race will have predictable results. The Democrat will win, because ACORN NEVER registers fake or dead Republican voters. Ever. Consistency rules over legality or morality, after all.

Democratic strategist Pat Caddell accused democrats of dirty tricks in the New Jersey Governor’s race today. There have been 15 times more absentee ballots turned in this year in Camden, New Jersey than last year when Barack Obama was running for president.

More potential Democrat cheating has been discovered through thousands of mismatched signatures… ACORN sure does get around. Wish James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles had gone to any ACORN offices in New Jersey and stirred up the stew there. Then this crappola would likely not be happening. The SEIU push for Democrat votes, funded by the Mothership ACORN (which is partially funded by American taxpayers) will be brutal, and if ACORN had been exposed in NJ, the thug push would not be as great.
Democrats Ask New Jersey Secretary of State to Ignore Mismatched Signatures on Absentee-Ballot Requests
October 29, 2009This year, New Jersey’s registered voters can request a mail-in ballot for any reason. (Before 2005, voters needed to provide a reason for why they needed an absentee ballot.) The state received about 150,000 absentee-ballot applications this year.
On about 2,300 of those applications so far, the signature on the request form does not match the signature on the voter’s registration forms with the state.
In a development that is depressingly predictable, the New Jersey Democratic party is asking the state to provide provisional ballots for all these voters. Those ballots could, presumably, be used to overcome any narrow lead by Republican Chris Christie over Democrat Jon Corzine on Election Day.
A mass distribution of provisional ballots, at the request of a political party, would represent a significant change from established law. Currently, when a county clerk rejects an absentee-ballot request, the clerk tries to contact the voter — through mail, by phone, and in some cases, by attempting to contact the voter in person. And a person who has spoken to some of New Jersey’s county clerks says they’re granting wide latitude on signature styles; for them to reject a ballot request because of the signature, it has to be dramatically different from the one on file.
Could some of these cases be an election official misjudging the natural deviation in two handwriting samples from the same person? Certainly, and that’s why the current system has clerks reaching out to rejected voters (presuming they actually exist) to sort out the discrepancy. But Democrats want to short-circuit the established methods of sorting out the problem, and in fact to ban rejections based on signature mismatches entirely.
Paul P. Josephson, a lawyer representing the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, wrote to Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells, asking her to “instruct County Clerks not to deny (vote by mail) applications on the basis of signature comparison alone.”
And the Democrat shenanigans aren’t just in New Jersey… check out the nonsense they’re doing in Ohio, via The Athens News:
Ohio’s top Democrat this morning chided Athens County Democratic Party Chair Susan Gwinn for allegedly running a campaign that promised $5 cash bonuses to Ohio University student Democrats for helping to get out the vote. Meanwhile, the county party’s treasurer said he knew nothing about the program and doesn’t approve of it.
In an unusually strongly worded statement, Chris Redfern, chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party, said, “The Ohio Democratic Party had no role in this stupid idea, and I urge Athens County Chairwoman Susan Gwinn to suspend the program immediately and not issue any payments that may have been planned. I call for a complete investigation and prosecution for any wrongdoing in this case.”
In the latter respect, Redfern appears on the same page as Athens County Republican Party Chair Pete Couladis, who issued a release Monday night asking the county Board of Elections and county prosecutor to investigate an alleged offer by the College Democrats to pay people to vote.
As the story developed overnight, however, it became apparent that the get-out-the-vote financial inducements were for getting others to vote, rather than paying people directly. The latter question is the apparent focus of an ongoing investigation Athens County Prosecutor C. David Warren, who earlier today said he’s looking into whether it’s illegal to pay canvassers to bring in other voters.
