Texas Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee… the insane gag gift that just keeps on giving.
Giving headaches to Texans, I’m sure.
She and other Democrats want to give ObamaCare health care insurance to illegal aliens. Or rather, have American taxpayers pay for it. That’s absolutely peachy. I’m sure that Texans will EMBRACE that touching, benevolent action of Jackson Lee’s, because Texans need to be more compassionate, give up more of their hard-earned money to keep any illegal aliens from being left out of the ObamaCare socialist feeding trough… we can’t have them feel like they’re *gasp* ILLEGAL ALIENS. (/sarcasm)
For the record, illegal aliens DO receive free health/medical care. What the Democrats are trying to do is add on to that taxpayer-sugar-daddy perk by giving them free health care INSURANCE through the ObamaCare/PelosiCare bill.
I don’t think I’m alone on this: I want LESS time in Congress being spent on how to mollycoddle illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded health care insurance and MORE time spent on keeping illegal aliens out of America and deporting them when they’re caught. Let them come back here legally? Absolutely. But I do not want to pay a single penny for anything that encourages more to come here illegally. ObamaCare is the shining jewel of socialism… and offers tantalizing freebies to stoke the growing firestorm of illegal immigration.
Don’t even get me started on Pres. Obama’s promise that illegal aliens would not be a part of the ObamaCare bill. That lie was exposed a while back. By Joe Wilson. Who was attacked and was vilified by every leftist under the sun. And was RIGHT.
CALL CONGRESS AT 202-224-3121 AND TELL THEM “NO” TO HEALTH CARE BILL… KILL THE BILL!
I keep asking this question of Texans, whom I believe are the bedrock of common-sense logic and solid American ideals… Who actually voted for this woman?

Jackson Lee Exploits H1N1 Panic to Promote “Robust Public Option”
RUSH: It’s time for our daily congressional laugh here, ladies and gentlemen. The ignorance is just stunning. Sheila Jackson Lee from Houston, member of Congress, who headed to the floor of the House to denounce my being involved with the National Football League in any way, took to the floor of the House to give a speech on health care and the H1N1 virus and vaccine.
LEE: One does not have due process if your neighbor can have health insurance and save his children from the scourge of H1N1 or not losing their lives because they might have vulnerabilities as a child and you cannot. H1N1 is more widespread now than ever before. Health authorities say almost a hundred children have died from the flu and 46 states now have widespread flu activity. More than 5,000 people have reportedly died from swine flu since it emerged this year and developed into a global epidemic.
RUSH: And children are dying from the swine flu. What can save them?
LEE: In Houston, Texas, there were two swine flu deaths confirmed on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009, that have brought the H1N1 death toll in Houston up to 15. The state reported one new influenza associated pediatric death in the last week. What do we say to that child’s parents? I can only imagine that there might have been some difficulty in that child receiving that flu shot. So many are in that predicament, so many do not have access to doctors and clinics and health insurance or a vigorous, robust public option –
RUSH: Oh.
LEE: — which would help the millions of those who now languish, who may be working, but do not have the ability to access health insurance.
RUSH: The only thing that can save our children from the swine flu is a robust public option that will be implemented in 2014. The H1N1 virus, she said, will find the uninsured. This virus, it has GPS. The virus, swine flu has GPS, and it can tell who among us doesn’t have health insurance and who among us doesn’t have access to a robust public option, and swine flu can find those of us that don’t have health insurance and don’t have a robust public option. This from the same woman while looking at the Mars Rover asked NASA scientists, will it go over to where the astronauts planted the flag? Which happened to be on the Moon, not on Mars.

Her recent contributions include complaining that hurricane names were too Caucasian and proposing a resolution praising Michael Jackson as the world’s greatest humanitarian. Bear in mind this was also the man who was investigated at great length for his suspicious behavior with children.
In September of 2009, she voted against a bill to pull the funding from ACORN. This community group has been charged and is in a criminal trial for voter fraud. There are 10 states that are also investigating them for voter fraud. This is also the same company that was exposed in the media recently for advising people on underage prostitutes and other criminal activities. This was an expose on this company in multiple cities. With all of this happening, Congresswoman Lee voted against the bill to put an end to their federal funding.
What is she thinking? At best, her judgment appears to be horribly skewed.

Good luck with this worthwhile, valiant effort, Joe. Sheila is an absolute nightmare for Texas, for any American. Who voted for this arrogant, entitlement-loving woman? From what I’ve read, John Faulk is a good man. And a HUGE improvement over Sheila Jackson Lee.
Wake up, Texans. We have a chance to rid our state and country of the embarrassment of Shelia Jackson Lee once and for all. John Faulk is running and he can WIN in November. Put your time, money, and effort behind him and let’s enjoy a dignified, decent, conservative businessman who can articulate the philosophy of our Founding Fathers and govern accordingly.
