Ah, another patronizing pair of rich, liberal celebrities who think all of America is taken in with starry eyes whenever they endorse something, including government-run, freedom-robbing, socialized health care. Endorsing something is easy when they themselves, because of their vast fortunes and fame, will never have to take part in it, just like our Congress won’t have to.

Martin Sheen and Stockard Channing are looking kinda old in this PelosiCare PSA, don’t you think?
If you recall, they played POTUS and FLOTUS on TV’s West Wing some years ago as married presidential couple Jed and Abbey Bartlet. I seem to also recall that the FLOTUS character, who was also a licensed physician, was under investigation on the show for medical malpractice, illegally prescribing off-the-record scrips to her president hubby for his multiple sclerosis, which was kept a secret from the public. Whatever happened with that? Did she get thrown into prison? Or, instead, did she get off scot-free while the mainstream media looked the other way? After all, she WAS the First Lady and a Democrat.
I stopped watching the show (increasingly more left-wing in the later seasons) long before it was canceled.

As is customary in these celeb health care PSAs, the fake ex-President and fake ex-First Lady don’t offer those of us with more modest incomes the reassurance that they will be accepting this “public insurance option” they so boldly tout over their cushy Screen Actors’ Guild (or comparably comprehensive) plans, rendering themselves, to quote on Holden Caulfield, “phonies.”
This health care issue is not over. We have not yet begun to fight.
A video clip of Sheen blathering on against “that bully” Bush in a BBC One interview he conducted in May 2009. Just one question… what kind of message does Sheen think Obama is sending the world? He’d only have to read a UK newspaper to see the critical headlines about “President Pantywaist.”

I did make a blog at their site, same blog name as I have now. It seems to use Wordpress as it’s platform but when I go to my page, I have no admin tools at the top of the page as I do with my current blog.
I wanted your take on this site and this stuff because you are so much more informed and saavy about stuff than I am.
