Obama Mayhem: Gitmo Terrorists Going to Illinois, CBO Deficit Report, Medicare Slashes, Abortion Funding Going Back in ObamaCare

For a Sunday afternoon, the breaking news about our weasels in Washington and the Oval Office just isn’t letting up.
It’s getting tougher to cherry-pick the biggest “Obama Mayhem” stories of a given day. They all are audacious, all deserve commentary, but it’s becoming impossible for any one blogger to hit all with equal force before the next batch of gloom-and-doom news arrives.
There are only so many hours in a day, after all.
So, here’s a synopsis of new and/or updated “Obama Mayhem.”
This first one with fuzzy math and terrorists should gladden the hearts of all those unemployed folks in Illinois. Club Gitmo terrorists in your neighborhood… like Chicago didn’t already have enough problems.

Unreal. Team Obama claims their decision to move 100 terrorist killers to Illinois will create or save 2,000-3,500 jobs.
The New Editor reported on the administration’s focus on job creation:According to an economic impact analysis by the Obama administration, the federal purchase and operation of Thomson could generate $1 billion for the local economy over four years and create between 2,340 and 3,250 jobs.
Of course, these jobs will be supported by US taxpayers. The administration did not release figures that show how much more money they will blow by having these killers held in Illinois rather than at Gitmo.

For those senior Americans who still think the Democrats in Washington have your best interests at heart, think again. PelosiCare/ObamaCare has just begun to enact huge Medicare cuts they claimed they wouldn’t. Won’t be so bad… just don’t get sick.

This can’t be good news if you’re a senior dependent on Medicare for health care. Lori Montgomery of the Washington Post gives the details on huge cuts in Medicare that will mean that some physicians will almost certainly drop patients:
A plan to slash more than $500 billion from future Medicare spending — one of the biggest sources of funding for President Obama’s proposed overhaul of the nation’s health-care system — would sharply reduce benefits for some senior citizens and could jeopardize access to care for millions of others, according to a government evaluation released Saturday.
The Stupak amendment to ban abortion funding was added to the PelosiCare/ObamaCare package so that pro-life Democrats would vote for it. They were placated with the amendment being approved and so, voted “yes” on PelosiCare. Therefore,, now that the dupe has been accomplished, Obama plans to yank the ban out. He and Pelosi got the votes they wanted for health care, and always the honorable guy, the president will now change the bill back to what it was WITH abortion funding. His game, his rules… so there. Don’t ever buy a used car from either of them.

A crucial barrier to the bill was eliminated when the House passed an amendment by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), a pro-life Democrat, by a vote of 240 to 192. Stupak’s measure would prevent insurance companies from participating in the new government exchange if they also cover abortion. It would also require women enrolled in the exchange to purchase supplemental abortion insurance with private funds if they want to be covered for the service in the future.

So is it really that surprising that the radical Obama White House will yank the abortion funding ban from the democrat’s nationalized health care plan?
Life News reported:
Top Obama advisor David Axelrod on Sunday confirmed what pro-life advocates already suspected would happen. He said President Barack Obama will work with congressional Democrats to remove the abortion funding ban the House approved in its version of the government-run health care bill.
Axelrod says that, because the Stupak amendment allegedly goes beyond the status quo under the Hyde amendment (which bans abortion funding under Medicaid), Obama will make sure the amendment is yanked during the conference committee.
That’s the part of the legislative process that will occur if and when the Senate approves its own health care bill, which will likely start debate with abortion funding.
This administration is out of control. It’s “Obama Mayhem.”
