Obama’s at Negative 14: Nearly a Record for American Voters’ Disapproval of the President

The approval numbers were this low once before, on August 23, 2009. So Pres. Obama’s presidential approval index today of -14 is now tied with his lowest approval rating ever. Making it another record, sort of.
Obama’s approval rating was at negative 12 yesterday… and it appears his plunging approval numbers will continue to plunge. As the economy continues to downward spiral and we draw closer to the New York City trial for the 9-11 terrorists, it will get much worse for the president.
Hopenchange… not what Democrats expected.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends).
Just 47% of Democrats now Strongly Approve of the President’s performance. Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Republicans Strongly Disapprove, as do 43% of those not affiliated with either major political party. These numbers reflect the concern some Democratic analysts are voicing about an enthusiasm gap heading into the 2010 mid-term elections.

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That figure includes 40% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Overall, among all voters, 52% now disapprove.
Republicans continue to hold a six-percentage point lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot.
Just 29% agree with the decision to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and five other terrorists suspects in a New York city courtroom. Only 14% believe terrorist suspects should receive the same legal rights in court as U.S. citizens.
FYI: The last time Pres. Obama’s presidential approval index was in the positive numbers range was on June 29, 2009.

BHO has already stated that the decision to take the terrorists to court in New York was Eric Holder’s decision.
Here again, he is only present.
His claims of promoting “transparency”, in his government applies only to him.
He hasn’t taken any responsibility for anything that has happened so far in his tenure.
He thinks he can talk his way out of this. He has been stroked throughout his life.
The American People elected a spoiled child, shielded from any controversy who cannot make decisions.
Evidently he “is close” to making a decision on the troop level in Afghanistan. WHOOPEE !!!
He has absolutely no experience in these matters and has rejected 4 recommendations from the panel members assembled by him.
