Sarah Palin's appearance on Oprah Winfrey's show catapulted the show's viewership to a 2-year high
OK, did hell freeze over? I ask because left-wing Huffington Post did not snark or slam or bash Sarah Palin or conservatives even once in the following post.
Maybe they’re trying to be OBJECTIVE??? Pinch me…

Oprah’s much-anticipated interview of Sarah Palin brought her the biggest “Oprah” ratings in two years.
The Live Feed’s James Hibberd notes that Monday’s “Oprah” drew an 8.7 household rating and 13 share, the highest since Oprah hosted the Osmonds in 2007.
The ratings boost confirm Palin’s popularity and suggest that Palin — who David Brooks recently called a “potential talk show host” — could very well succeed with a show of her own.
Earlier this year, there was rampant speculation that Palin was eying a talk show gig. Palin began her career as a sports reporter for KTUU, Anchorage’s NBC affiliate.
My own silly little observation: The highest-rated show that Oprah last had, before this week’s Palin interview, was when she interviewed the Osmonds two years ago… hmmm. High ratings when conservatives are guests on her show. Any overpaid geniuses at Harpo Productions sense a pattern here? Anyone?
To HuffPo: I recall that this week David Brooks called Sarah Palin “a joke.” Did Brooks say Palin was a “potential talk show host” in a complimentary fashion, or was it part of a two-punch slam?
UPDATE, November 20, 2009: Oprah announced she’s retiring from her long-lived talk show (25 years) to pursue starting up a cable network or cable show or something like that. Twenty-five years doing the same job… I’ve been married to the same guy for 23 years, but I’ve never had that kind of love for a job to stay for a quarter of a century. You know that this decision didn’t just happen overnight, and so, while Winfrey was interviewing Palin about Palin getting a talk show, she knew that this announcement about her own retirement would be coming in a matter of days. Make of that what you want.

Not even when Obama or his witch of a wife appeared on Obama did she enjoy ratings as high as these. The ratings for Sarah Palin’s Monday show appearance received a 8.7 household rating and 13 share — the best since Oprah 2007. That means Palin even beat Oprah’s hyped up interviews with Whitney Houston at the start of the season. Winfrey began the interview by asking Palin if she felt snubbed at not getting an invitation to appear on the show last year. Winfrey said she didn’t have any candidates on her Chicago-based show during the campaign because of her support for President Barack Obama.
