Assorted quotes that were posted on the web or broadcast during November 2009 about Pres. Barack Obama. There are thousands upon thousands more… another time, another place.

“In the string of amazing decisions made during the first year of the Obama administration, nothing seems more like sheer insanity than the decision to try foreign terrorists, who have committed acts of war against the United States, in federal court, as if they were American citizens accused of crimes.” —economist Thomas Sowell

“When Barack Obama was campaigning — not that he’s ever stopped — back in 2008, he made a number of promises. As we all know, like a cad on the make, he was only trying to get us in the sack. Once he had his way with us, he barely remembered our name, let alone his various vows.” —columnist Burt Prelutsky

“President Obama traveled all the way to China to praise the free flow of information. It’s the only safe place he could do so without getting heckled. With a straight face, Obama lauded political dissent and told Chinese students he welcomed unfettered criticism in America. Fierce opposition, he said, made him ‘a better leader because it forces me to hear opinions that I don’t want to hear.’ How do you say ‘You lie!’ in Mandarin?” —columnist Michelle Malkin

“President Obama has repeatedly stated that his stimulus package has ‘saved or created’ hundreds of thousands of jobs. And hundreds of thousands of jobs have been created. In Unicornland.” —columnist Ben Shapiro

“It won’t be long before the president’s ego is so inflated that it will require a ZIP code of its own.” —columnist Jeff Jacoby

“While in China, President Obama gave a speech. He said that ‘being open to criticism makes democracy stronger and makes me a better leader because it forces me to hear opinions I don’t want to hear.’ Then he went back to trashing Fox News.” —comedian Jay Leno

From The Powers That Be, posted November 25, 2009:

The annual White House tradition of pardoning a turkey took place at the White House today, with President Obama pardoning two birds: Courage and Carolina:

Fox News reports that the pardoned birds will now fly to California, and Courage will serve as honorary grand marshal for Disney’s “Thanksgiving for Giving Day” Parade, while Carolina will be an alternate in case Courage can’t fulfill his duties. Nancy Pelosi is next in the order of turkey succession in case either of the other two are accidentally eaten tomorrow.

From Howard Portnoy at Hot Air Greenroom on November 28, 2009:

Barack Obama has long struck me as self-absorbed, thin-skinned, and utterly lacking the seriousness and forthrightness of any president in my lifetime. What has magnified these flaws by many orders of magnitude is Obama’s own stated intention to be better than those who came before him. To borrow a Yiddishesque expression I used to hear my grandparents utter, “he should kuck so.”

From Rush Limbaugh, radio broadcast November 12, 2009:

I have an Undeniable Truth of Life: ‘Ours is a world governed by the aggressive use of force.’ But in Obama’s world, ours is a world governed by the aggressive use of speeches.

From Dan Freeman at Big Government on November 9, 2009:

How did we not see that our freedoms were under assault on every front? How is it that the Democratic Party has been taken over by socialists without so much as a single public outcry among all 57 Senators and 256 Congressman? How is it that we are about to legislate nationalized healthcare, the mother of all progressive programs and the greatest threat to our personal freedom our nation has seen, while CNN regurgitates the “deficit neutral” lie and debates whether the price tag will be $1.1 versus $1.2 trillion? How is it that we became so enthralled with Barack-the-demagogue, whose knowledge of economics appears to be limited to what he learned from his much admired, Marxist professors, and whose primary work experience consists of organizing people to take from others in the name of social justice? How is it that those in power—the recipients of the priceless gift of individual freedom—can be so ignorant of the value of what they were bestowed, and so blind as to where they are taking us?

It’s hard to know which is more disturbing. That we elected Barack Obama, or that so many people still cannot see where this is leading. And why are we so blind? One problem with being born into freedom is that it is largely invisible until it is threatened.

From Lauri B. Regan at American Thinker on November 27, 2009:

In his thuggish Chicago style, Obama felt confident that he could successfully bully Netanyahu into halting construction in disputed territories and then go down in history as the president who brokered peace between Israelis and Palestinians. In doing so, Obama not only underestimated the resolve of the Israeli people, but he empowered the Palestinians by handing them an excuse to discontinue all negotiations for peace for the foreseeable future.

From Mark Steyn at SteynOnline on November 28, 2009:

Along with his choreographic gaucherie goes his peculiar belief that all of human history is just a bit of colorful back story in the Barack Obama biopic — or as he put it in his video address on the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall: “Few would have foreseen on that day that a united Germany would be led by a woman from Brandenburg or that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent.”

Tear down that wall . . . so they can get a better look at me!!!

Is there no-one in the White House grown-up enough to say, “Er, Mr. President, that’s really the kind of line you get someone else to say about you”?

Let’s call it like it is.

The Obama is nothing more than a petulant, self absorbed child.
He is being exposed as just that by the adults outside his circle of ‘advisers’.
Indeed, the ‘adults’ that are governing other countries are seeing him as a weak leader.

This administration is reminiscent of the Carter years, weakness.

His arrogance after being elected is obvious.

After being stroked and supported his entire life by socialist/marxist radicals who now are attempting to bolster his reputation by restricting any and all difference of opinion for his intended policies for America.

Obama and Michelle are creating a massive division within this Country.
They are after anything they can get from America, now that they are in power.
Neither really came from the poor elements of our society, but used their race to take advantage of a socialist system, designed to promote policies that assume to elevate the poor and downtrodden in our society, by keeping them ‘in their place’, financially.

It’s like opium to an addict.
The voter base that they rely on is diminishing, and no rhetoric can reinstate the Americans that are becoming more informed on a daily basis due to an interest in the economical conditions surrounding us, and a desire to adhere to our Constitutional philosophy.

Ground AF1 unless he needs to use it as it intended for.
No more dates in Chicago, or New York !

He’s traveling to West Point to announce his plans for troop deployment to Afghanistan.

This is disgusting to any Vet out there.
    It’s just another photo-op.

Patton would have put a tank up his A$$ before now.
