Numbskulls: Democrats Ignore Record Unemployment, Want to Give Illegal Aliens Amnesty Instead

With unemployment numbers at a record high in decades (since Democrat president Jimmy Carter screwed up our economy), are the Democrats in Congress hunkering down, trying to make Obama’s humongous failure of a stimulus/porkulus bill actually work to stimulate the economy? Or are they thinking outside the box on how to keep more American businesses from going belly up? Or are they recognizing that out-of-control spending by Team Obama and throwing taxpayers’ money willy-nilly at a problem isn’t the solution, and that when left alone (and proven by Ronald Reagan), the free market works?
Good grief, of course not. Because any of those actions would make sense. Would actually help American citizens out of this mess Obama created and has perpetuated.
Instead, Democrats are pushing to get amnesty for those poor illegal aliens. Help the NON-citizens get employment before the citizens… what do you even say to this pile of horse puckies?
Our elected Democrats are, once again, demonstrating that they are moronic numbskulls with no concept of economics, no sense of honor for their constituents, and have plenty of self-serving chutzpah. They’re digging they’re own graves in the name of appeasing minority activists and growing the ever-dwindling Democrat party. All illegal aliens magically turned into legal citizens will be “convinced” to register as voting Democrats. And SEIU will have more union members, paying union dues, to sic on conservative tea party protesters.
How many fictional jobs “saved or created” by Pres. Obama will this illegal alien amnesty nonsense claim to save or create? Since there are an estimated 3 million illegal aliens in the state of California alone, I’m guessing that Obama will take credit for at least half that number.

From Washington Times: Immigration bill backers try again despite jobless rate:
Democrats on Tuesday begin their new push for an immigration bill, hamstrung by the image of legalizing millions of illegal immigrant workers at a time when the unemployment rate stands at 10 percent — more than twice what it was the last time Congress tried to act.
“It certainly will confuse the debate a lot more, but at the end of the day what we have to understand is fixing this system will be good for American workers,” said Eliseo Medina, executive vice president of the Service Employees International Union, which is one of the major advocates for legalizing illegal immigrant workers.
Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, the Illinois Democrat who has taken over leadership on the issue after the death of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat, plans to introduce an immigration legalization bill Tuesday, and backers are planning a strategy to avoid repeats of the failed attempts of 2006 and 2007.
In a letter to members of Congress last week seeking support for the bill, Mr. Gutierrez and Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, New York Democrat and chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, said their legislation will end the off-the-books economy of illegal immigrant workers and protect American workers by raising labor standards.
“In these difficult economic times, we must ensure that everyone contributes toward the recovery and prosperity of our nation,” they wrote. “To this end, it is imperative that all individuals and employers pay their fair share in taxes.”
A draft overview of the bill, circulated with the letter, ends some enforcement tools such as the 287(g) local police cooperation program, calls for an electronic verification system to replace the voluntary E-verify program, argues that there’s no need for more U.S. Border Patrol agents or fencing, and establishes a long-term path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
That path would require illegal immigrants to pay a $500 fine, pass a background check and learn English and civics to gain legal status. After six years, they could apply for legal permanent residence, or a green card, which is the interim step to citizenship. There is no “touchback” provision requiring them to return to their home countries at some point in the process.
Republicans are sharpening their attacks and going straight for the jobs argument.
“With 15 million Americans out of work, it’s hard to believe that anyone would give amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants,” said Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee. “Even the open-borders crowd agrees that illegal immigrants take jobs from American workers, particularly poor and disadvantaged citizens and legal immigrants. This is exactly why we need to oppose amnesty.”
His office has calculated that there are 19 states where the number of illegal immigrants in the work force is at least 50 percent of the number of unemployed workers.

The unemployment rate averaged 4.6 percent in 2006 and 2007, or less than half of the current 10 percent rate.
President Obama has said he wants Congress to act next year on immigration, and has tapped Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to begin organizing the administration’s effort.
Ms. Napolitano, in a speech last month, said enough progress has been made on border security, and that she’s trying to refocus interior enforcement on dangerous illegal immigrants and unscrupulous employers rather than workers. Part of that refocused effort involves audits of I-9 forms, the work authorization documents all workers must file when they take a job.
But Ms. Napolitano has taken fire from both sides. Those who want a crackdown say she’s letting illegal immigrant workers off the hook by not deporting them when they’re caught, while immigrant-rights advocates say the I-9 audit focuses on the wrong employers.
Repeat from post above: Ms. Napolitano… said enough progress has been made on border security. “Enough progress” must mean Janet and her DHS cronies haven’t done diddly-squat about slowing down illegal immigration across our borders and they don’t intend to do much beyond that. Zero plus zero still equals zero.

SEIU has been lobbying for illegal alien amnesty as a massive membership booster all year. In May, the Purple Shirts held a pro-illegal immigration rally from Malcolm X Park to the White House to put pressure on homeland security officials to call off workplace raids (not that Janet Napolitano needed any convincing)…

Get rid of the border? Is he kidding? There are other people in other countries who have to wait and who are not trying to gain entrance illegally. And what about monitoring terrorists?
Here we go. I will be branded as racist.
I will go to my grave muttering something about If you are illegally in this country, no way should you be given amnesty. With that mindset, what other amnesties from illegal actions would you expect?

If Internet blogger’s, the national and rural newspaper comments, forums or bulletin boards, are a national grading of passing Comprehensive Immigration Reform–FORGET IT! IT JUST ISN’T GOING TO HAPPEN! I follow the commentaries very carefully and my observation show a very negative response to any new law that indicates giving the 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants a more or less free passport to the road of citizenship. We don’t have to forcibly deport, as E-Verify is the computer ideally suited to eject foreign labor from the all working locations? IT WORKS! It’s success rate is climbing even higher, as its continually modified. Under normal circumstances it would be an impossibility to pass any AMNESTY? But when the headlines scream that 15 million irate Americans and legal residents cannot find employment, the chances of giving another AMNESTY, is impossible–and absolutely, incredulous that they would even try?
Advancing this insane reform law under the noses of middle class Americans is going to be a expiration of Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), Speaker Pelosi, Napolitano and a whole mis-match of Democrats who are thinking they will be re-elected. Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) champion of his government in Mexico and throughout Central and South America will–NOT–survive his incumbent election. No tourist or student overstays are equally unwelcome in this nation of laws. CALL ALL YOUR SENATORS AND EVEN CONGRESSMEN/ WOMEN. NOW and urge them–NOT–to support COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM. There must be heavy consequences to illegally settling here, such as upgrading the unauthorized entry to a felony. In the future we must have an orderly immigration recruitment system, but only for people with highly skilled qualifications. Guest Workers must be equally vetted and not just given permission without strict–return instructions home, after completing their contract. No family reunification, because this has been rife with fraud as sponsors end up reneging on the financial aspect. All this issues can easily be resolved with amendment to the 1986 immigration bill. What to do with 20 to 30 million illegal aliens from across the world, slowly repatriate them using the SAVE ACT. We are unable to afford the costs attributed to illegal immigration. Learning in the Sanctuary State of California has collapsed from the massive surge of illegal foreign nationals into the school system.
Observe CNN TV documentary this week, “California in Crisis” The state may still implode under the huge burden of supporting financially the illegal aliens with large families. Unrevealed billions of dollars are skimmed from state treasuries, to pay for the immigrants that cannot sustain themselves around this nation. The demented politicians in Sacramento are already talking about raising taxes.
