Dunce Alert… Private Sector Experience Absent: One More Reason for Obama’s Escalating Economic Mess
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on January 4, 2010

Our special Dunce Award goes to... Barack Obama's cabinet, with fewer than 10 percent of the czars having any kind of work experience in the private sector
In the real world, in order to be hired as a shop manager, a design engineer, an accountant, an editor, a computer programmer, an elementary school teacher, a middle manager, a chef, there is a certain skill level and education or training expected, and often some kind of demonstration of a skill-level proficiency. Experience is usually expected — typically around 1 to 5 years minimum hands-on experience is the rule of thumb, depending on the field. Certification is also required of many jobs across the United States.
In the Obama Universe, no such private sector experience is required for at least 90 percent of the members of his cabinet, yet they are paid handsomely and given the unchallenged authority to oversee and influence private sector matters.
Just be a crony and be a liberal (tax evasion optional, previous residence in Chicago preferred), and YOU can be appointed to a cushy 6-figure job that permits you to muck up the economy, too! The majority of folks in BHO’s cabinet have NO private sector experience for those plum White House cabinet positions. And yet, these Obama-appointed czars “shake and bake” the private sector with their new, often incompetent mandates on a daily basis. People with NO applicable background, NO certification, NO skills in the private sector are making life-altering decisions for millions of Americans.
Pres. Barack Obama has fewer than 10 percent experienced private sector cabinet members under his command. The next lowest for cabinet employees from the private sector was during Pres. John F. Kennedy’s reign, who had about 28 percent members with private sector experience (a big jump from BHO’s last place to JFK’s second-to-last place percentages). Third lowest for work experience in the private sector was during Pres. Jimmy Carter’s presidency, at about 31 percent (and we all know the economic failure THAT administration created). Pres. Dwight Eisenhower had the most, at just shy of 60 percent.
Blimey! Not only is Pres. O-Bomb-A shoving proven-to-fail socialist policies and procedures down the gasping throat of the American economy, he has the help of the most ignorant, most greenhorn cabinet as it relates to the private sector of any president during the past 100-plus years (I’m just reading the chart, liberals… so don’t freak out in the comments box).
History doesn’t lie (unless it’s secretly rewritten by Team Obama), and the free market demands, in order to work properly, that the government butts out. Especially an ignorant government like we currently have, with less than 10 percent who know what in the heck they’re doing (and that’s assuming that they had positions in the private sector that actually prepared them for their lofty czar position).
It’s like kudzu… you think you’ve identified and then combated the rampant spread of growth of the strangling weed, but you were only fooling yourself. Eradication is nearly impossible without drastic measures.
H/t to Dancing Czars for the presidential cabinet appointment chart and this post quote: Wonder Why Nothing will Ever Work Czar?:
So as Obama wants to turn the economy around, less than ten percent of the cabinet officials he would presumably turn to for advice have ever worked in the private sector. Not encouraging.
From PUMAByDesign001’s Blog: Obama’s Cabinet in Fail Mode on Private Sector Experience:
The Obama administration has the least private sector experience than any other presidential cabinet in more than a century, however, they are in overkill mode when it comes to corruption. How much faith can Americans have in this administration? We are talking big government, all of whom are huge on political mayhem and red tape, but no private sector experience. How can we trust them to do what’s right? Common sense tells us that these thieves will leave us worse for the wear. What can they possibly do right?

Vicki, he doesn’t WANT EXPERIENCE.
Obama wants Cloward and Piven disciples.
His main objective is to take this capitalistic economy to it”s knees and then install the structure buried within the “health care” bill.
IMO……
