Nebraska’s Sen. Ben Nelson, after getting his own oinkety-oinkety pig trough bribes from “Dingy” Harry Reid and Team Obama for selling his soul, selling out his constituents, and prostituting his vote for socialized ObamaCare/ReidCare, now says “we should have waited on health care.”
What a jerk. Are you paying attention, Nebraskan voters?
Reported by Fremont Tribune, Nelson: We should have waited on health care:
Sen. Ben Nelson said Tuesday it was a mistake for the Obama Administration to take on massive health care reforms in 2009, and suggested efforts would have been better spent addressing the economy.
Nelson, who provided the crucial 60th vote to advance the bill toward Senate passage on Dec. 19, has been active ever since trying to explain his actions to Nebraskans. Ads have aired on television and Nelson is making the rounds with the state’s media.
He requested Tuesday’s interview with the Tribune.
“I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy,” he said.
He complimented President Barack Obama’s handling of the war in Iraq and the troop surge in Afghanistan, and pointed out other administration successes, but said they were areas that “are minor in comparison to health care.”
Complimented BHO on the war in Iraq and troop surge in Afghanistan? Sounds a bit like Paula Abdul’s weak “I love your shoes” compliment on American Idol when she has nothing good to say about a contestant’s performance. No dice, Ben.
