Scott Brown’s Popularity Surging in MA, Tells Hannity He’ll Vote “No” on ObamaCare, Romney & Military Vets Weigh In on Support of Brown (video)

The race in Massachusetts for the coveted Ted Kennedy US Senate seat has suddenly taken a surprising turn… Republican Scott Brown has a real chance to win. Where he was about 30 points behind in the polls just a scant few weeks ago, Brown is overtaking Democrat Martha Coakley.

This Senate race in MA will have a profound effect on our nation, because if Brown wins, he will be voting AGAINST ObamaCare, thus smashing the 60-seat, filibuster-proof stranglehold the Democrats are currently enjoying in the Senate.

To loosely quote former dancer and Chicago-political-machine thug Rahm Emanuel, “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.”

Republican Scott Brown Says He Will Be the 41st Vote Against Obamacare

From Public Policy Polling, Toss Up in Massachusetts:

Buoyed by a huge advantage with independents and relative disinterest from Democratic voters in the state, Republican Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley 48-47.

Here are the major factors leading to this surprising state of affairs:

-As was the case in the Gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia last year, it looks like the electorate in Massachusetts will be considerably more conservative than the one that showed up in 2008. Obama took the state by 26 points then, but those planning to vote next week only report having voted for him by 16.

-Republicans are considerably more enthusiastic about turning out to vote than Democrats are. 66% of GOP voters say they are ‘very excited’ about casting their votes, while only 48% of Democrats express that sentiment- and that’s among the Democrats who are planning to vote in contrast to the many who are apparently not planning to do so at this point.

-Brown has eye popping numbers with independents, sporting a 70/16 favorability rating with them and holding a 63-31 lead in the horse race with Coakley. Health care may be hurting Democratic fortunes with that group, as only 27% of independents express support for Obama’s plan with 59% opposed.

William A. Jacobson at Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion has been covering this Senate race extensively for a long time now, and has many excellent updates on it. Pop on over to his blog and read some of his brilliant commentaries.

Democrats, demonstrating once again during the “hopenchange” Era of Obama to be such stellar upholders of our country’s Constitution who respect and honor the collective voting voice of Americans (OK, stop laughing), have haughtily announced this week that they plan to disregard the MA vote and will REFUSE to seat Republican Scott Brown in Kennedy’s Senate seat if Brown wins the January 19th special election in Massachusetts. They may even suppress the results of the election long enough so that Brown can’t vote on ObamaCare. So there.

My immediate response: Whiskey tango foxtrot???

This childish, snotty, sore-losers-in-advance attitude coming from the Senate Dems a week and a half before the Massachusetts election is so indicative of their cluelessness that America is run by the PEOPLE, and not by their private socialist clique. They think, since “they won,” they are permitted to poop all over the American people and the Constitution, and can continue to irresponsibly willy-nilly muck up our nation. Psst, Harry Reid and Paul Kirk… they may get away with that tyrannical crapolla in Venezuela and Iran, but we’re in America, you worms.

BTW… ACORN’s SEIU (funded by American taxpayers) are going full-hog on pushing Coakley down the throats of Massachusetts voters.

Yes, the Democrats of JFK’s era are long gone, long before Teddy passed on. Have been gone for decades.
