Martha, Martha, Martha… You Need to Keep your Left-wing Thugs at Bay until AFTER the Election (video)

Thank goodness this wasn’t a Taliban or al Qaeda terrorist attack… Massachusetts Senate-wannabe and state Attorney General Martha Coakley stood idly by, watching as a reporter was assaulted by one of her reported campaign workers. The reporter was knocked down to the ground.
Coakley did nothing. No call for help, no bending over the fallen man to ask if he was OK, no admonishing her thuggish campaign worker for his physical assault on another human being. Nothing, nada, zilch.
The reporter’s crime? Asking Coakley why she was attending a fundraiser with lobbyists. Legitimate question from a legitimate reporter.
Martha, Martha, Martha… you need to keep your left-wing thugs at bay until AFTER the election, buttercup.

A hot story today is how a reporter for The Weekly Standard was shoved to the ground by a Martha Coakley campaign worker when the reporter tried to ask Coakley why she was attending a fundraiser with lobbyists.
But another part of the story, as pointed out at HotAir, was that Coakley witnessed the assault and did nothing. Here is a photo showing Coakley looking at the reporter on the ground with the assailant standing over him, from HotAir [via The Weekly Standard]:

Coakley’s non-reaction to the assault, even though she knew that the reporter only was trying to ask a question, is the big story here.

Report from the assaulted reporter, John McCormack from The Weekly Standard: Assailant Was a Coakley Staffer on Loan from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee?:
A tipster tells me that the man who was pushing me outside of a Capitol Hill fundraiser Tuesday night for Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley is Michael Meehan.
Meehan heads up a firm called Blue Line Strategic Communications along with his partner David DiMartino, who was outside the fundraiser with Coakley tonight and introduced himself to me there. The AP reported on Monday that Meehan is also working for Coakley: “The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee also dispatched Michael Meehan, a media consultant with ties to Massachusetts, to assist the Coakley camp with messaging.”
Martha Coakley spent all day yesterday with lobbyists trying desperately to raise money as her campaign sinks in Massachusetts, or as Coakley’s campaign puts it, Massachusettes. John, who is a credentialed reporter with a legitimate media outlet, asked her questions that Coakley should have answered, even with a “No comment.” The fact that people who work either for or with the state’s Attorney General feel free to commit assault and battery on a reporter should tell Massachusetts voters all they need to know about Coakley and her views on public accountability.

Naive on terrorism, a poor speller, meeting with health care/ObamaCare lobbyists for money, AND a gutless, liberal progressive Democrat… a do-nothing bureaucrat when an assault is happening right before her eyes… the list is growing, Massachusetts.

A Weekly Standard reporter says he was roughed up last night outside a Washington, D.C. fund-raiser for Attorney General Martha Coakley by someone he believes is associated with her U.S. Senate campaign.
John McCormack, the magazine’s deputy online editor, writes about the incident outside the Sonoma restaurant in an online dispatch entitled: “We Report, We Get Pushed.”
According to McCormack’s account, Coakley took two questions from reporters after the event, but declined to respond to his question. McCormack wrote he asked Coakley whether she stood by statements she made during Monday’s debate about terrorists in Afghanistan.
He provided the following transcript of what happened:
“TWS: Attorney General Coakley, you said last night that there are no terrorists in Afghanistan–that they’re all in Yemen and Pakistan. Do you stand by that remark?
COAKLEY: I’m sorry, did someone else have a question?
GRIFF JENKINS, Fox News: I did. Why are you in Washington tonight?
COAKLEY: We planned an event after the primary that would be a unity event in Washington. We’re also in the middle of a very intense campaign …”
McCormack wrote after Coakley finished her answer he followed her and asked her why health care industry lobbyists were supporting her at the fundraiser. He said she did not reply.
As he continued to walk down the street, he said a man who appeared to be associated with Coakley’s campaign pushed him into a freestanding metal rail.
“I ended up on the sidewalk. I was fine. He helped me up from the ground, but kept pushing up against me, blocking my path toward Coakley down the street,” he wrote.
McCormack said the man asked him whether he was with the media and he responded he works for the Weekly Standard.

It’s going to be a close race.
Democracy vs. socialism, and a congress that has seen the power that they can mandate through the health care bill.
I see a degree of desperation within the socialist party ensconced within the White House.
Losing the majority in the senate will put Reid on the grill, assuming he gets re-elected.
No more power.
