Geez, Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson can’t even enjoy a night out eating pizza anymore. Yep that’s right, Ben Nelson was booed at a new pizza joint in Omaha concerning his vote in favor of the Senate’s health care bill.
(Politico) Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson and his wife were leaving dinner at a new pizza joint near their home in Omaha one night last week when a patron began complaining about Nelson’s decisive vote in favor of the Senate’s health care bill.
Other customers started booing. A woman yelled, “Get him the hell out of here!” And the Nelsons and their dining companions beat a hasty retreat.
“It was definitely a scene in there,” said Tom Lewis, a 41-year-old dentist and registered Republican who witnessed the incident. A second witness confirmed the incident to POLITICO.
It’s a new experience for Nelson.

“New experience for Nelson” — hey, better get used to it, Benny Boy. You betrayed Nebraska, you betrayed America. You’re lucky they only booed you, and didn’t start lobbing greasy pepperoni slices and mushroom pieces at your traitorous head.
Being a sell-out turncoat and a bribe-accepting weasel to pass a health care bill that the majority of voters in your state DO NOT WANT usually infuriates thinking, patriotic American voters.
Particularly when their penny-pinching night out to have a nice pizza with the family is ruined when Sen. Ben “Pig Trough” Nelson shows up.
