Google Logo: A Creative, Wonderful Tribute to Martin Luther King Day (video) – UPDATE: Coakley & the MLK Breakfast
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on January 18, 2010
Well done, Google.
An excellent, thought-provoking, beautiful tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King and his historic message to a nation on Google’s home page today as we celebrate Martin Luther King (MLK) Day.
Displaying the Google logo artwork in black and white and varying shades of gray is symbolic, and offers additional opportunity for discussion and analysis of our nation’s race issues — past, present, and future.

UPDATE:
I didn’t want to comment on this because it is a repulsive exploitation of MLK’s message, but… I held back as long as I could. Martha, you’re a real piece of work.
Distracting (some would call it “showboating”) from Dr. Martin Luther King is our favorite-to-criticize, hypocritical, lying Democrat: Wow… Martha Coakley Holds Rally at MLK Breakfast With Scott Brown Sitting In the Room — Brown Responds.
Never let a civil rights breakfast honoring Dr. King go to waste when shilling for votes, right, Martha? Utterly shameful and grotesque.
To be filed in the “loathsome, audacious acts of a self-serving Democrat politician” file… the file is getting quite plump.
Scott Brown, on the other hand, was a man of integrity and character when reporters tried to get him to bash Coakley for her self-promotion. He did say her speech was “inappropriate” when the breakfast they were attending was suppose to be honoring Dr. King (and NOT Martha), but refused to go further criticizing her.
