Good Luck with That: Obama Plans to Sabotage Help Harry Reid’s Election in Nevada
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on January 22, 2010

Sen. Harry Reid's approval numbers in Nevada are horrible... Obama will go to Nevada next month to help him campaign. Good luck with that.
Pres. Barack Obama has announced that he will go to Nevada next month to campaign for Dem. Senate leader Harry Reid. Reid’s approval numbers are horrific in Nevada (a blind, one-legged chimp running against him today would win), and POTUS believes he has the power to boost them up.
ROFL.
From Roll Call:
President Barack Obama will appear with politically embattled Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in Las Vegas next month, according to a White House official.
We saw how effective Obama’s campaigning was in helping Martha Coakley and other losing Democrats… much like a kiss of death.
I suggest that after Obama “helps” Reid, that he go to California to “help” Sen. Barbara “Don’t Call Me Ma’am” Boxer with her reelection. That spendthrift, despicable woman needs to be booted, and Obama’s just the man to do it with his legendary “kiss of death” endorsement.
From Gateway Pundit: Obama Hopes to Save Harry Reid With Campaign Stop in Nevada:
Go for it.
From The Snooper Report, Obama On His Way To Kill Harry Reid’s Election:
One day Obama will figure all of this out. Every time he opens his mouth the stocks tumble and the people he campaigns for die the death they so richly deserve.
From Redstate: Obama: I Want Harry Reid To Lose:
After all, everyone ELSE he’s campaigned for has lost-perhaps this is how he gets even with Reid for ruining his Presidency…and destroying that ever-elusive legacy all Presidents work their entire term(s) trying to establish.
What better way to get Reid gone…look like he was trying to help…and move forward with the rest of his term having some modicum of hope that he’ll get something, anything, accomplished before he’s forced into retirement. If luck has any interest in living on our side of the aisle, perhaps he’ll campaign for Pelosi as well.

Obama needs to keep as many socialists in congress as he can, obviously, to pass his agenda. It appears to me that desperation is kicking in on the left. Bill Clinton is standing in the wings, waiting for his cue.
On congressional endorsements however, I feel Sarah Palin, endorsing John McCain could be a mistake for her,…commitments or not.
McCain allowed his campaign to let the media attempt to destroy her credibility.
McCain knew he was going to run for another term in the Senate, and observed Sarah’s integrity, made a deal with her and now she is fulfilling that commitment.
I have many questions concerning Sarah Palins’ judgment on this issue.
I disagree with many of the policies McCain endorses.
A polite “no thank you” to McCain should be in play here.
Personally, I would display the middle finger.
What say you Vicki ?
I’m also grappling with Palin’s decision on McCain. JD Hayworth would be a much better endorsement, a truly conservative candidate, but I don’t think he’s yet officially announced his decision to run.
I’m pondering on this one, AF.
Maybe Sarah will reconsider.
She is also campaigning for Michelle Bachmann whose conservative values I admire.
Commitments are OK but only under certain circumstances.
