Good points. However, I don’t believe there is ANY video evidence showing O’Keefe breaking the law as there was with ACORN agreeing, in all seven offices, to “aid and abet” in the child prostitution ring, helping smuggle children from El Salvador into the country to be prostitutes (slave trade market), or filling out federal paperwork in such a devious manner to escape detection from the government for getting a loan fraudulently (which is taxpayer money)… nor has there been mention of anything that I’ve read yet saying that they discovered actual wiretapping devices on O’Keefe. Of course, that could change as the press releases more information.

Being caught on tape agreeing to break the law and having the evidence in hand, as was with ACORN, is quite different than what has been reported about O’Keefe. And ACORN, despite all the damning videos, still says they’re innocent, as do all they’re ACORN supporters, many American Democrats, and a few members of Congress. So, saying “no one” was saying that they were innocent until proven guilty about ACORN is inaccurate. ACORN’s defense is that they never actually committed the crimes, only advised on it – looks like that’s where we stand also with O’Keefe, since the alleged wiretapping never happened.

Time will tell. If the press has not been given all information on O’Keefe, I’m sure we’ll know more in the coming days.

I like O’Keefe too. The problem with all that I have read this morning about the incident, is that conservatives are saying that he’s innocent until proven guilty, which is true. However, when his Acorn videos came out no one was saying that about ACORN.
At least let’s be consistent.

It’s unfortunate after the recent victories by the right….Scott Brown, the SCOTUS decision, climate gate and beyond and the demise of Air America, that this will sully its reputation and give much needed ammunition to the left.

That’s what I’m hoping, too, Roxy… the left-wing media is going nuts on this (suddenly O’Keefe is news to them).

James has never struck me as being this stupid, so I’m crossing my fingers. Other than that, I’m speculating all sorts of stuff that I won’t utter, but as I wrote in the article, he’s innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Time will tell. It ain’t over ’til it’s over.
