Another bird’s eye view of one of the many reasons why MSNBC is in the royal dumper with its viewership. Dirty, deceitful, shabby journalism.
And of course, there’s left-wing, unprofessional hacks Contessa Brewer and Melissa Francis, who never fail to drop all pesky efforts at a semblance of balanced reporting. But don’t try this type of loaded question on Republican (NH) Sen. Judd Gregg… he’s no whimpering pantywaist, and threw these shrill Barbie-doll shrews to the mat. DELICIOUS.
Contessa’s question pays homage to the classic, misleading “So, Senator, have you stopped beating your wife?” It’s intentionally rhetorical and taught in Logic 101 classes as being fallacious, a false, misleading statement with a slipshod question mark tossed in at the end. Its main intent is to smear, to malign, to defame, not to uncover any real truth. Yellow journalism ain’t pretty.
Sen. Judd Gregg Gives MSNBC Host Contessa Brewer an Earful
Contessa Brewer, you lie. Here is EXACTLY what you asked:
“So, my partner Melissa, Senator Gregg, is really asking for specifics. If you don’t believe that we should have a 1.3 trillion budget, which programs are you willing to cut? Are you willing to tell schools ‘No money for you’?’”
Sen. Gregg’s explanation that Obama’s growing budget will have a massive impact on the country, a potential meltdown, and how he wants to keep government from growing more is factual. Additionally, Gregg is against adding a trillion-dollar debt for our children to inherit and that fiscal responsibility is NOT being met in this administration.
La la la la la… we aren’t listening to you… These two belligerent airheads were ready and waiting, obviously not listening to his responses when Contessa then threw out her snotty “gotcha” question. Sen. Gregg let them have it for their lack of integrity as interviewers. She then quickly backpedaled, saying she didn’t say that he thought we should cut education (liar). Like viewers wouldn’t believe their own ears on what she had said mere seconds earlier. Liberals always do this: cutting down on government spending??? They immediately jump to the emotionally charged conclusion that that means no money for police, fireman, or the children… never, hey, let’s get rid of politicians’ perks or trim the budgets of 100 government agencies.
But consider which whacked-out liberal major news station this is. The same one that tried to falsely put a “racist” label on gun-toting protesters at an Obama rally in Phoenix in August 2009, while concealing through their deceptive video editing that there was only ONE man that they captured on camera legally carrying a gun… and he was black.
I can only imagine the gargantuan feat of movie editing magic for MSNBC to execute so as to to not show this man’s face or hands. They didn’t want his blackness to show because they desperately wanted to push a story of WHITES carrying guns and creating racial tensions. They just couldn’t find any, darn it. Race baiting and news manipulation of the lowest kind… heck, I’ll call it what it was: a big fat LIE. I posted about Contessa Brewer’s deliberate fraud back then, because she had to have seen the original footage, may have had a part in the malicious editing, and then lied through her teeth to viewers about this “racial tension” — which didn’t exist — and whites carrying guns — which was also a bold-faced lie.
Also, on at least one occasion, this liberal fraud tried to smear Sarah Palin during an interview with filmmaker John Ziegler, and Contessa had a gloriously angry hissy fit on camera when Ziegler wouldn’t go along with her efforts to malign the then-governor of Alaska.
Sen. Judd Gregg, bravo for not letting these leftwing Barbie dolls get away with that clumsy, loaded question, that intentional setup to malign and distort your position against fiscal irresponsibility of the Obama administration.
You called it what it was, Senator. A lack of integrity on the part of Contessa. But that’s nothing new at MSNBC.

That clip is rich, isn’t it? Putting that bimbo in her place is priceless. I think that clip of her with John Zieigler was on my blog when it happened. He did a great job of demolishing her, too.
How those people get ANY views is beyond me. They cannot be making any money at MSNBC, that’s for sure. Just like AirAmerica…. no on is watching and soon enough, advertisers have to figure that out.

They have correspondents all over the world on our dime.
Air America was a dog in lost revenue for years. The only reason it was around for as long as it was, to my understanding, was that George Soros kept pumping money into it. Liberal media has never done well on radio, and based on ratings, liberal news channels are nose-diving now on television. Liberal newspapers are also dying. I say no bailouts with our tax dollars for them. Provide balanced news or suffer the consequences.
America isn’t stupid… the writing has been on the wall for a long time, but many people were either asleep or unable to believe what they were seeing. Now that more Americans are getting involved in watching the media and watching our government, biased liberal news sources will be caught more often and as a result, will lose more viewers who are tired of being lied to or only getting half the story. Good. Free market principles, supply and demand… they work as long as the government keeps its nose out of the way.
You’re right about that Contessa Brewer meltdown with John Ziegler, Roxy – hilarious and horrible at the same time. Brewer is a dense, biased, left-wing media puppet with no sense of honor or integrity.
