It’s official… Scott Brown was sworn in just a little bit ago as the newest US Senator of Massachusetts.

Good luck to you, Senator Brown, and may God bless you.

A majority of Americans — from California to North Dakota to Florida, as well as your home state of Massachusetts — support you, but we’re also watching you closely. VERY closely.

Sorry — that’s just the way it is. You impressed us during your campaign with your conservative principles, your intelligence, your fiscal responsibility, your adherence to the Constitution, and your good old-fashioned common sense.

Please don’t let us down. Continue being the principled man you presented to Massachusetts and to America, and we’ll be more than satisfied.

After all, you’re now in The People’s Seat.
