Now It’s “AfricaGate”: More IPCC Global Warming Errors & Junk Science… Add It to ClimateGate, GlacierGate, & AmazonGate

AfricaGate: IPCC has wrongly claimed that, in African countries, yields from rain-fed agriculture could be reduced by up to 50 percent by 2020
And the IPCC blunders and lies continue to mount…
First there was ClimateGate (manipulated, non-peer reviewed, and destroyed data to create Dr. Michael Mann’s bogus hockey stick graph), followed by GlacierGate (discovery and suppression by scientists, namely Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, of glaciers not melting, but growing in the Himalayans) and AmazonGate (non-applicable data and junk science being used to claim global warming is killing the Amazon rainforests). All have exposed omissions, faulty or non-existent data, and/or deception in the global warming debacle.
One more grievous error in the scientific community of the “cult of global warming” has now surfaced, again under the “watch” of head tamale Dr. Raj Pachauri. It’s being called “AfricaGate,” because it’s been discovered that the IPCC has wrongly claimed that because of global warming, African countries food yields from rain-fed agriculture could be decimated to 50 percent by 2020. This would make global warming responsible for the starvation of millions of poor African citizens.
False.
IPCC’s scientific integrity continues to crumble. Wonder what Al Gore’s take on this is?

Dr. Richard North, who does investigative journalism at the EU referendum blog, has a comprehensive analysis and backgrounder on the latest in a series of blunders by the IPCC that have been uncovered. It complements the just released story by Jonathan Leake of The Sunday Times that highlights a leading British scientist calling for IPPC to “tackle the blunders or lose all credibility.“

And now for Africagate
Following an investigation by this blog (and with the story also told in The Sunday Times), another major “mistake” in the IPCC’s benchmark Fourth Assessment Report has emerged.
Similar in effect to the erroneous “2035″ claim – the year the IPCC claimed that Himalayan glaciers were going to melt – in this instance we find that the IPCC has wrongly claimed that in some African countries, yields from rain-fed agriculture could be reduced by up to 50 percent by 2020.
At best, this is a wild exaggeration, unsupported by any scientific research, referenced only to a report produced by a Canadian advocacy group, written by an obscure Moroccan academic who specialises in carbon trading, citing references which do not support his claims.
Unlike the glacier claim, which was confined to a section of the technical Working Group II report, this “50 percent by 2020″ claim forms part of the key Synthesis Report, the production of which was the personal responsibility of the chair of the IPCC, Dr R K Pachauri. It has been repeated by him in many public fora. He, therefore, bears a personal responsibility for the error.
I’ll repeat this telling phrase: “…written by an obscure Moroccan academic who specialises in carbon trading, citing references which do not support his claims.” Translation: lies told by someone who would likely benefit from carbon taxes was used to by the IPCC to perpetuate the global warming myth.

Richard North reveals AfricaGate, in which ‘evidence’ that African countries’ yields from rain-fed agriculture could be reduced 50 percent by 2020 was not exactly scientific.
Unfortunately for Raj ‘Kiss Me‘ Pachauri, the claims came from an advocacy group, much like the claims of GlacierGate and AmazonGate. Unlike those other ‘Gates however, Pachauri’s fingerprints are all over AfricaGate.
Pachauri and the IPCC must wonder when the hits will stop coming, but there’s more ‘-Gate’ gold left in them thar AR4 hills yet.
