When LA Times & Rockefeller Take Obama and Biden to Task, You Know the Dem Party Is Knee-Deep in Cow Patties (video)

Last week, I caught this headline and opening sentence at The Los Angeles Times:
Joe Biden update: Iraq one of Obama’s ‘great achievements’
Who knew?
Yes, it’s true. The Royal Court Jester Gaffer himself, Vice President Joe “I Only Act Crazy When I’m in Front of a Mic” Biden claimed, while being interviewed on The Larry King Show, that the Iraq War will be one of Obama’s “great achievements.”
Is there ANYTHING this administration won’t stupidly lie about?
LA Times’ political writer Andrew Malcolm — after spilling some coffee in his lap from laughing, no doubt — launched into Obama’s well-known track record on opposing the Iraq War and subsequent surge effort from years back and reminded readers of Biden’s “Democratic primary plans to give in to Iraq’s fractious factions and carve the country into three territories.” Malcolm further pointed out the *cough* big fat lie *cough* of Biden’s claim, including this:
Now, the Obama-Biden pair that opposed the Iraq war and its tactics and predicted their failure is prepared to accept credit for its success.
It seems that Biden, who’s from Delaware when he’s in Delaware and Pennsylvania when in Pennsylvania, is certain now that Iraq will turn out to be one of the Obama-Biden administration’s greatest achievements.
No, really.
Here’s how Biden put it to Lar:
I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.
I spent — I’ve been there 17 times now. I go about every two months — three months. I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society. It’s impressed me. I’ve been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.
Biden did not elaborate on what all the administration’s other “great achievements” were so far.No doubt, Iraqis too are very thankful for that 2008 U.S. election.
Those cow patties (translation: male bovine excrement piles) are getting pretty deep here…

Well, actually, Mr. Gaffetastic did not invent those things, but, if he is going to attempt to take credit for the Iraq War for Team Obama then what the Hell…
…Seriously, Obama and Biden campaigned against the Iraq War, railed against the surge, saying repeatedly that it would fail, had failed, etc. President Obama even went so far as to say he would STILL oppose the surge even though it worked! And now they have the umitigated gall to try and take credit for the success there?
ABC News’ Jake Tapper also points out the falsehood:
At the briefing today, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about Biden calling Iraq one of the great potential achievements of the Obama administration given that Biden had previously advocated that the country should be divided into thirds and split among Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis, and then-Sen. Obama opposing the surge of US troops that many experts argue helped bring stability that allowed the reconciliation process to continue.
In fact, in January 2007 then-Sen. Obama said that he was “not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq is going to solve the sectarian violence. In fact, I think it will do the reverse.”
Gibbs said the achievement was “putting what was broken back together and getting our troops home, which we intend to do in August of this year.”
A reporter pointed out that the Status of Forces Agreement to bring troops home was signed before the president took office.
Meaning… it rightfully should be George W. Bush’s “greatest achievement,” you gutless, spineless liars. Obama had NOTHING to do with Iraq’s success.

To make matters worse for BHO this past week, West Virginia Democrat Sen. Jay Rockefeller, great-grandson of oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller and popular US Senator in WV since 1984, said about Pres. Obama and his claims about supporting clean coal, “He’s beginning to be not believable to me.”

This past week, too, revealed another POTUS whopper… that of Obama’s plan to raise taxes on middle-class families. Even though he promised-promised-promised during his presidential campaign that he would never do any such thing.

Those cow patties that Obama and Biden are flinging are getting tougher to wade through as of late. The Democrat Party must be investing in some mighty big shovels about now, what with the monstrous poop-load of lies coming out of the mouths of Team Obama these days.
