This news is just breaking. Former Secretary of State Alexander Haig has passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore at age 85. Following the attempted assassination of then-President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981, Haig seemed to challenge the presidential line of succession and the 25th Amendment by declaring, “I am in control here.” [...]

Alarming medical news this morning… The diabetic medication Avandia is under fire for being linked to an increase in heart attacks and heart failure. It has also been linked to increasing bone fractures. The FDA wants Avandia removed from the market.
