Ann Coulter Brings Down the House at CPAC… Quips That Sarah Palin Has Created More Jobs Than Obama (video)

Book cover of one of conservative author Ann Coulter's many best-sellers

More highlights from CPAC… conservative journalist and best-selling author Ann Coulter was ON FIRE and took no prisoners.

Who knew that Sarah Palin has created MORE JOBS in the private sector than Barack Obama has? Funny stuff, from a funny gal who’s wicked-smart and gorgeous… left-wingers despise her for breathing.

DUH.

Annie, you’re fabulous, no matter what that sputtering left-wing weasel Keith Olbermann thinks and says of you. Or, because of what he thinks and says of you.

Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit summarizes Coulter’s CPAC appearance thusly:

Ann Coulter clobbered the liberals in her speech. Terrific.

Note: I’ve replaced the previous Ann Coulter video with this one, as it is about 3 minutes longer. However, it isn’t the entire speech (the final few minutes are cut off), due to YouTube’s length restriction.

Ann Coulter at CPAC

From CBS News:

CPAC Convention, Washington – Attendees of the Conservative Political Action Conference flooded into a crowded hotel ballroom today to hear one of the conference’s most anticipated speakers, political pundit Ann Coulter.

Delivering a comic routine that delighted the audience, Coulter took shots at every Democrat from the Obamas to the late Ted Kennedy.

Coulter said that since President Obama was elected, “For the first time in my life, I’m sometimes not proud of my country,” rousing cheers from the crowd. She was alluding to a moment from the 2008 campaign trail when Michelle Obama said, “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.”

She joked that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has created more jobs than Mr. Obama. “She’s created at least 11 jobs fact-checking at the AP just for the Palin autobiography,” she said.

Coulter also took aim at Vice President Joe Biden, mocking his statement that the end of the Iraq war would be one of the Obama administration’s “greatest achievements.”

“Why couldn’t Obama have picked someone respectable as his running mate, you know, like John Kerry did?” Coulter asked.

While praising Republicans for their recent wins in states including Massachusetts, she took a shot at the late Democratic Senator, Ted Kennedy. She said new GOP Sen. Scott Brown’s election “must have him rolling in his grave, probably spilling his drink.”

The Camp of Saints has a fab summary and an impressive boatload of links to CPAC highlights, including this Coulter quote:

Midnight Blue has also captured the best quote of the day:

ANN COULTER: If you don’t leave liberals in a sputtering rage you’re not doing it right.

Burn and score!

    Great video…

I love the way Ann skewers the left.

No doubt about it, she rocks!

Would love to see her effortlessly take Barack Obama apart in a debate sometime… won’t ever happen, but I’d love it anyway.

    She is sooooooooooo cool.

Oh Vicki – hate to spill tears on your post but have you ever had a day when you hated what you wrote and didn’t get it right until the end of the day after a 20 poor souls had read it????? I haven’t seen you have a bad post yet. Should I get more rest? LOL

Ever hated what I wrote? Hmmm… only maybe 12 times a week now. Which is better than what it used to be. I’ll be pleased with something, then pop into other blogs and after reading a few sentences, am sometimes hit with such self-criticism… I feel like such a dweeb. Or neophyte. Or goose. Or wanna-be. Or all of the above. Writer’s remorse hits many of us… you have no worries, dear heart. Your passions and convictions are true, your talents immense, and your energy is going in the right direction – keep firing away, and while you may think you have missed your mark, believe me when I say you have not.

I love your blog and you have a unique voice and perspective. I am never disappointed, SamHenry. Keep firing and never stop believing in yourself. Your message is reaching an appreciative, growing audience.

      :)

OMG – thanks Vicki – I’m up in the night here not because it has been a 3-dog night (babysitting an aged Basset hound I love) but nervous in the service about the rambling post I did yesterday on broken government that I was able to cut in half and make clearer! Do you think I have a growing readership? I hope so. My stats are a bit better but then I only link to VF, You and HotAir, LOL. Vf taught me how to link faster and I have to get out those notes! Thanks for a pep talk. You make this ole dawg feel warmer this winter. PS if you want to see a piece of really good writing, read the Sports Illustrated article about our hockey win last night at:
        http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/olympics/2010/02/21/usa.canada/index.html?hpt=C2

I never read SI unless it’s the olympics! Her name is Sarah Kwak and toward the end she waxes positively poetic.

        Thanks again, Vicki

You’re welcome… heck, I’ll bet even Michelle Malkin needs a pep talk every now and again. And yes, I do believe your readership is growing. You have such unique insight on issues – I love reading your posts!

BTW – I’ve got your email address… would you mind if I emailed you this week with a few other ideas I’ve stumbled across?
