Where is AGW Pope Al Gore? Since the massive blizzards have been crushing the East Coast and other parts of the world for weeks, he's either gone into hiding or has been kidnapped by angry eco-nuts | H/T to HillBuzz for this photo
I’ve been worried about Al Gore these past couple of months. All these record snowfalls and crumbling of the IPCC’s unholy stranglehold on global warming junk-science huckstering must be agonizing for global warming guru Gore. Except for his disaster of an appearance at the Copenhagen summit in December, I’ve not heard a peep from him anywhere, and there’s been plenty to peep about.
Many would like to hear his remarks about the non-melting glaciers or the non-climate-change dwindling Amazon forests or anything tearful about polar bears being at a record 50-year high in population numbers. We’ve learned about (but NOT from the Obama media, of course) ClimateGate, GlacierGate, AfricaGate, AmazonGate, and most recently, HurricaneGate.
No rebuttals or statements from Grand Poo-Bah Gore, nothing at all. Either he’s gone into hiding until the snow melts or he’s been kidnapped by angry eco-nuts who saw a copy of his Tennessee mansion’s last self-indulgent, hypocritical electric and gas heating bill.
The pounding from unprecedented snowfall and cold that Washington DC, the East Coast, Texas… heck, nearly all 50 states, as well as China, South Korea, the UK, much of Europe… have been taking this year could have made his scheming little AGW mind snap like a frost-bitten twig.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s, aka IPCC’s, clumsy tap dancing as of late to deflect mounting criticism about the organization’s falsified, manipulated, or cherry-picked data may have been too much for him to bear.
Bear… like in polar BEARS, Al? Mwahahahahaha….

The author, at Investors.com, particularly hammers Gore’s claims that New York and Washington were going to Atlantis themselves into watery ruins in the next few decades, because Gore was shouting from every street corner that “The oceans are rising! The oceans are rising!”.
Well, it’s been revealed that was just a con. The oceans are not, in fact, rising. ”Scientists” just made that up, because the UN needed the oceans to rise for the carbon tradeoff scam it was running to work. The plan was to redistribute vast amounts of wealth from the West, via “carbon credits”, and put that money into the hands of Third World dictators.
Remember, the majority of the UN is Third World.

Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity brought up the former vice president while introducing a story about the massive snowfall during his Fox News show Monday.
“It’s the most severe winter storm in years, which would seem to contradict Al Gore’s hysterical global warming theories,” Hannity said.
And former House Speaker Newt Gingrich mocked Gore on Twitter on Saturday after the first full day of snow.
“Historic snowstorm in Washington — third this year — where is Al Gore to explain it snows this heavily as a sign global warming is imminent,” the former Georgia Republican wrote.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin also made waves this week for disputing global climate change but without pointing directly to Gore.
During a speech Monday in California, Palin called evidence of global warming a “bunch of snake oil science.”

University of Tennessee Interim President Jan Simek this morning presented a proposal to trustees to award an honorary doctoral degree from UT Knoxville to former vice president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore.
The proposal was approved by the UT Board of Trustees Academic Affairs and Student Success Committee, but the proposal will go before the full board for final approval this afternoon. Trustees are on the UT Martin campus for their winter board meeting.

Sen. Jim DeMint, you’re one funny congressman. As a reminder, DeMint is the Republican senator from South Carolina who last summer, made the comment that ObamaCare would be Barack’s “Waterloo.” Which Team Obama didn’t appreciate and the left-wing media went bonkers over… based on the Democrats’ “crash and burn” of a health bill summit meeting yesterday, it appears that DeMint may have been gazing into a crystal ball last July. And now, DeMint is taking a cheeky potshot at Gore on Twitter… like I said, funny guy.

Some conservatives have echoed DeMint’s sentiments that the snowstorm should poke holes in evidence backing global warming.
DeMint took direct aim at the former vice president, who is one of the foremost proponents of government action to counter global warming.

I knew that being a movie buff you’d know what I was talking about! LOL!
LOL – “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” is a classic in horrible films. Years back, we had a small party to showcase the film, admire it for its incredible campy awfulness. But it just couldn’t be done. It was so bad, I had to stop watching it after 20 minutes, and my husband and everyone else followed suit a few minutes later, even though we had all looked forward to watching and mocking it. Just couldn’t sit through it – it’s THAT dreadful. Another classic in Z-rated films is “Terror of Tiny Town,” a 1930s all-midget Western musical. I caught that on a Saturday morning on TV decades ago, and still can’t get the images of it out of my head. But “Tomatoes” is still worse… and as you pointed out, Marilyn, Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” should rank along side it.
Thanks for the giggle… Gore is being exposed for the fraud that he (and global warming) is.
