More lies exposed about ObamaCare and costs… by a Democrat senator. Hand them enough rope, and the Democrats will efficiently hang themselves on ObamaCare.
Speaking on the Senate floor this week, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) said, “Anyone who would stand before you and say well, if you pass health care reform, next year’s health care premiums are going down, I don’t think is telling the truth. I think it is likely they would go up, but what we’re trying to do is slow the rate of increase.”
No, Senator, the whole idea originally introduced and claimed by POTUS about health care reform was to lower the cost to Americans. Democrats are now trying to fudge and twist what Americans have been promised from the get-go. ObamaCare had nothing to do with some bogus “slowing the rate,” which is ambiguous at best. Number 1 effort to lower overall health care costs is tort reform, limiting what ambulance-chasing lawyers can rack up, but nowhere in this 2,000-plus-page bill is tort reform mentioned (if I’m wrong, please let me know the page number it is on). Convenient. Too many lobbyists and Democrat lawyers likely would have a coronary attack if tort reform was even uttered in Congress.
Another area of rising health care costs is fraud… Medicare and Medicaid waste and fraud have been rising for years. Obama has suddenly promised this week to crack down on that costly fraud… which, pardon me, he should have done a bloody year ago if he had ever been serious about bringing down Americans’ health care costs. That alone could save billions, without having to unleash his disastrous, expensive, “rationed while paying for abortions and illegal aliens” socialized health care nightmare.

Great post, Vicki. Loved the silly sneers! We are being “managed” by a group that belongs on a playground – complete with bullies. You are so right, they should have been looking for fraud in the current system all of this past year. Further, they would have been able to let us know where the fraud and inefficiencies really were. Right now I doubt that anyone can know that there will be sufficient funds recovered from medicare to pay for all of this.
And so here we are down to the line and Obama is running through the streets like a vendor yelling – “Oh and if you buy my health care, I’ll go right out tomorrow and look into fraud – I’ll send your mother chocolates on Mother’s day and if you don’t go for any of this – there will be consequences, you know.”
I say ground Air Force 1.(and the rest of his fleet).
No more campaign trips Obama.
The country can’t afford it.
He is looking at our children as a bank, while manipulating them into socialism.
The defeat of capitalism will be the downfall of this country.
The man is delusional.
Chocolates… now if POTUS had offered THAT instead of “hopenchange,’ I may have been on board like all the other bird-brain, Obama-Koolaid-drinking socialists… NOT. LOL
