Mike Pence (R-Indiana) decrying the trampling on the Constitution with the proposed “hey, we can pretend to vote” Slaughter Solution being proposed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her statist thugs to ramrod through this government takeover of Americans’ health care.
With the Democrats’ escalating outrageous “no holds barred” approach to being our elected public servants, there are no rules of conduct; they can do anything, they believe, that they damned well please, including trampling and spitting upon our Constitution.

Barack Obama has gotten bolder in his sales pitch for ObamaCare over the last couple of weeks. While earlier he kept his fiscal promises as non-specific as possible, generally talking about “bending cost curves” rather than relating it to individual effects, lately he has pledged that his signature agenda item will lower health-care premiums for Americans. The Associated Press calls shenanigans today in a fact check:
Buyers, beware: President Barack Obama says his health care overhaul will lower premiums by double digits, but check the fine print.
Premiums are likely to keep going up even if the health care bill passes, experts say. If cost controls work as advertised, annual increases would level off with time. But don’t look for a rollback. Instead, the main reason premiums would be more affordable is that new government tax credits would help cover the cost for millions of people.
Listening to Obama pitch his plan, you might not realize that’s how it works.

Obama is flat-out lying about lowering premiums, as the CBO made plain last November. Not only will premiums continue to increase, they will rise faster under ObamaCare than otherwise, while forcing people into plans they don’t need. And note that the people who will pay the higher premiums are those who are already under more financial pressure than most — the people who have to buy their coverage as individuals. Aren’t these the folks that Obama purports to help?
Gateway Pundit has a breakdown on the results of a new poll conducted by the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest Advance and PajamasMedia — New Poll Finds Americans Really, Really Don’t Like Obamacare — which includes that six in ten Americans (60%) agree that a current Democrat proposal to send the Senate health care bill to the president without voting up or down on it is “unfair.” Also, most Americans oppose (81%) health care reforms that would increase insurance premiums for healthy people to offset premiums of people who wait until they are diagnosed with an illness to purchase insurance. And most importantly, eight Americans in ten (81%) oppose allowing the government to decide what kind of health care coverage Americans are able to purchase.
Not that this will stop Nancy “Screw the Constitution and Americans” Pelosi as the Obama-Pelosi train continues to barrel down the tracks of tyranny at breakneck speed.
Make your voice heard… melt the phones in Washington. Yesterday was beautiful. Not only could no one call in, according to Rush Limbaugh this morning, congress critters couldn’t dial out. They had to use their cell phones to reach the outside world via phones. Momentum is building… keep up the efforts!

Nancy Pelosi, Robert Gibbs and David Axelrod claim it’s over, they have the votes. Just about everyone else, including some Democrats in the House, say it ain’t so yet.
We cannot believe anything that comes from the mouths of Democratic leaders and consultants; it all is spin meant to create the appearance of inevitability.
If they had the votes in their pockets, they wouldn’t be talking about it so much. Their verbiage is meant to demoralize the American people into acceptance, and more importantly, to pressure Democrats in the House who are on the edge.
