My dear old dad, bless his heart, emailed this “Maxine” political cartoon to me this morning… a little macabre humor on the health care travesty that occurred yesterday in our House of Representatives (to be rebranded “House of Non-Representatives”).

Let me get this straight…we have passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also is exempt from it and hasn’t read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.

What the hell could possibly go wrong?

We despaired yesterday, but we now must shrug it off. Team Obama will race to force through more socialist measures and agendas… health care isn’t over yet, but amnesty for millions of illegal aliens is starting to rev up. If that happens, Democrats will be in office forever and will destroy the fabric of our country, because illegal aliens will be lavished with welfare entitlements and will be brainwashed to vote for the leftists. Or will be strong-armed and threatened by the statists that voting them out will mean that the “freebie waterfall” would be turned off.

Take time to laugh a bit, and then we must move briskly forward to stop this dismantling of America before we’re swallowed up by Team Obama’s socialist/Marxist agenda.
