I’m guessing it’s not been a good day for Bart Stupak, the loathsome worm of a man who is the newly crowned “Voter Betrayal King.” Phone ringing off the hook? Email accounts flooded with angry pro-life voters expressing their disappointment in his ObamaCare betrayal? Good.

Rep. Stupak was reportedly (I say “reportedly” because now I doubt I’ll ever again believe a word that comes out of this slime dog’s mouth) against abortion when it was politically advantageous for him to claim to be so, pledged for well over a year he would not support abortion funding nor the health care bill, even spoke to the press about his opposition up until the eleventh hour… but then, WHOOSH… in virtually a blink of an eye, Stupak turned pro-abortion funding when Nancy “I Have No Reflection in the Mirror” Pelosi offered him a few pieces of “Judas silver”… less than a million dollars and Obama will give him some fakeroo-yada-yada executive order or something that even a high school civics student knows means NOTHING and will do NOTHING about abortion provisions in the health DEFORM bill.

“Stupak’s Folly” is what many are calling his reckless, breathtakingly stupid decision to embrace ObamaCare. Did you get to eat some 100-dollars-a-pound Japanese steak on Air Force One when you were being wooed by The One, Barty-boy?

Bart’s “dummy” sign was not only crooked but upside down when Pelosi started whispering and hissing toxic nothings in his ear. What price trust and honor?

Glad to learn that buying off Democrat politicians from Michigan and for them to lie so convincingly for days to their constituents is so cheap. Glad to know that hypocrisy amongst liberals — when it comes to terminating unborn children with taxpayer dollars — is still alive and well, still fresh and despicable. Consistency of one’s foes makes it easier to defeat them.

Let’s not forget that first big socialist experiment, that of the city of Detroit some 40 years ago, was such a whopping big FAILURE for the Democrat party. Now Michigan’s disgraced, dishonorable, dishonest congressman can etch his name prominently on the “legacy” of America’s ramrodded socialized health care, a government power-grabbing socialist experiment a thousand-fold bigger. “Benedict” Stupak should brush up on his speaking skills, because his political days in Michigan are looking extremely bleak.

Texas Republican Rep. Randy Neugebauer admitted shouting ‘Baby Killer’ at Rep. Stupak during the health care debate on the House floor Sunday night, per AOL News — video below.

The mysterious congressional heckler who cried “baby killer” during Rep. Bart Stupak’s climactic floor speech in favor of health care reform has come forward: Rep. Randy Neugebauer, a third-term Texas Republican.

Neugebauer identified himself this afternoon as the heckler, according to his statement posted on The Dallas Morning News and Talking Points Memo Web sites.

Neugebauer’s statement said he “exclaimed the phrase ‘it’s a baby killer’ in reference to the agreement reached by the Democratic leadership.”

“I have apologized to Mr. Stupak and also apologize to my colleagues for the manner in which I expressed my disappointment about the bill,” Neugebauer’s statement said. “The House Chamber is a place of decorum and respect. The timing and tone of my comment last night was inappropriate.”

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — In the first indication of just how upset Congressman Bart Stupak made pro-life groups by arranging a deal on abortion funding with President Barack Obama, a pro-life women’s group is stripping the formerly respected pro-life Democrat of an award it planned to give him this week.

Stupak announced earlier today that he arranged an executive order with Obama to nullify the abortion funding in the pro-abortion Senate health care bill.

But, pro-life groups say the deal is worthless because an executive order can’t be used to modify federal law, which will be changed under the Senate bill to allow abortion funding.

Saying it plans to “drive out” of Congress the pro-life betrayers who vote for the pro-abortion health care bill, the Susan B. Anthony List told LifeNews.com that Stupak will lose its “Defender of Life” award the group planned to give to Stupak at its annual dinner gala this coming week.

“This Wednesday night is our third annual Campaign for Life Gala, where we were planning to honor Congressman Stupak for his efforts to keep abortion-funding out of health care reform,” SBA List president Marjorie Dannenfelser told LifeNews.com.

“We will no longer be doing so. By accepting this deal from the most pro-abortion President in American history, Stupak has not only failed to stand strong for unborn children, but also for his constituents and pro-life voters across the country,” she said.

Stupak talked with CNN about the decision and said, “I didn’t see the award. I stood on my principle. I don’t need an award.“

Someone grab Barty-boy a dictionary. Principle??? Is that the new Democrat code word for “selling out to the highest bidder and lying to pro-life voters”?

Glad you don’t need “an award,” as you put it, Bart. But you definitely need a sense of integrity… start working on that. I’m sensing you’re also going to need a job, with all those lovely taxpayer-funded perks you’ve grown accustomed to, come this next November. Unemployment is a drag, as members of Congress will find out in a few months.

Obama issued an executive order to alleviate Bart Stupak’s fears about public funds being used for abortions. Stupak is now reportedly on board. If that’s true, God, what a maroon. Laws built into bills are a lot harder to get rid of than executive orders, which can be rescinded at any time. Holding out on principle but giving in so easily because of gullibility does nothing but cheapen the principle and make everyone wonder if you ever stood for anything in the first place.

Instapundit and Ace of Spades are both reporting that Bart Stupak (D-MI) changed his vote on healthcare reform from No to Yes for a paltry $726,409. Stupak’s office announced that three airports received grants from the FAA for maintenance and improvements on three airports in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Stupak, who had been a thorn in the side of Demonrats who were hell-bent to get ObamaCare passed, proclaimed ad nauseum that he would cast a No vote, crumpled under the arm-twisting and empty promises of Fearless Reader.

Those familiar with the text and intent of the bill say the order offers no interpretation or action beyond what the Senate version of the bill already does.

Stupak may have changed his mind but his soul was sold to the most pro-abortion president in this nation’s history. I hope you’re happy little man. Get ready to pack up your office. And don’t forget to take the jacket you’ve got hanging on the back of your office door.

It’s good to see the House maintain its civility. The problem is, Stupak did a dog and pony show for the entire country to close out the HCR debate. And he positioned himself front and center to make sure he got his face time at the end when the cameras were on and the largest number of people were watching.

As we now know, he was always planning to sell-out. He just wanted enough cover, hence the silly executive order gimmick that’s worth less than the paper it was written on. As I tweeted repeatedly earlier yesterday, he had his deal done much earlier when it first started to break. The only reason he denied it with his “not yet” BS was so he could have his presser. Everyone else knew it was a done deal.

I don’t hold people to some pure standard on RTL issues. That’s never been my primary issue. But when someone puts himself out there in that regard and then betrays it, they’re just a disingenuous piece of lying scum who was taking what looked to be a principled position all along for purely political gain. He should be pleased. I guess he got NOW and Blue America off his back so he can try to hold on to power.

Yes, Lady Liberty took a serious kick in the teeth last night. The health care bill will put one-sixth of the U.S. economy in the hands of the federal government. But even worse than assisting further in the bankrupting of our economy, our freedoms are now seriously diminished.

We Americans became considerably less free last night.

As everyone knows by now, Bart Stupak has sold out on Obamacare. No one should be surprised, really — because as Laura at Ace of Spades points out, one must have principles to begin with in order to stand on them. It turns out, he admitted a year ago that he probably was going to vote for it. Joke’s on us for actually thinking he wouldn’t cave, huh? He caved for absolutely nothing except a meaningless piece of paper that Obama waved in his face, an executive order that even Democrats understand is meaningless. Is he stupid, or was he just lying all along? Did Pelosi finally get to him, or was he just holding out for a sweeter deal? There have been rumors floating around that he took an $800k bribe.

…A single vote could make the difference in the fate of the legislation but Stupak says other pro-life Democrats who had been part of his coalition fighting for specific language on abortion funding have given up the fight. “It’s almost like some right-to-life members don’t want to be bothered. They just want this over,” Stupak told National Review’s Robert Costa in an article published on-line Friday. If that’s the case, Democratic leaders may be able to prevail without Stupak’s support.

The Michigan Democrat’s vitriol for House leaders shines a bright light on the normally secret negotiations. “They’re ignoring me,” Stupak asserts while concluding that the final bill will not have the stronger abortion-related language that he’s long supported and was able to force in the first bill the House passed late last year.

“[E]ven if they don’t have the votes, it’s been made clear to us that they won’t insert our language on the abortion issue,” Stupak says. “I really believe that the Democratic leadership is simply unwilling to change its stance. Their position says that women, especially those without means available, should have their abortions covered.”

Stupak offers an interesting take on why party leaders don’t want his effort to succeed. “If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing,” Stupak says. “Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue – come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we’re talking about.”

This is appalling, but at least the truth is finally coming out. The Dems are targeting the elderly, and now unborn babies are in their sights. In Europe, midwives deliver most babies. Doctors there only take on high-risk cases. If the Dems are so worried about paying for childbirth, why aren’t they looking at alternatives other than trying to force you and me to pay to kill unborn babies?
