Sex & Drugs: As Written, Taxpayer-funded Viagra for Child Predators & Rapists Provided for in ObamaCare — Will Democrats Try to Allow It?

The Republicans are taking action against the Democrats’ power-drunk ramrodding of ObamaCare… one of the ways is by questioning/challenging many of the horrible provisions in the Team Obama unconstitutional monstrosity.
Here’s just one of them… the Democrats want Americans to pay for Viagra for convicted pedophiles, child perverts, and rapists. Disgusting and inexcusable.
From Right Pundits, GOP: Vote No On Viagra For Sexual Predators:
The Democrats want free health care coverage for everyone. Yesterday, the GOP asked them if that includes Viagra for rapists, child molesters, and sexual predators.
Sen. Tom Coburn has introduced an amendment to Obamacare titled, “No Erectile Dysfunction Drugs To Sex Offenders,” a political move that will either put Democrats voting an obvious “yes”, which sends the health bill back to the House for reconsideration, or voting “no” and showing exactly how frightened they are of another House vote.

Everyone get the joke here? If the Dems amend the reconciliation bill for any reason, they have to send it back to the House for yet another vote. So anything the GOP proposes — anything — they’re basically bound to vote no on. And Coburn knows it. One tasty shinola sandwich, coming up!
Democrats are adamant about not bouncing the bill back to the House, a move highlighting their views on the political weakness of their health care bill, despite Obama and Pelosi’s post-vote euphoria.
“Democrats in the Senate are very unified that this is not going back to the House,” Sen. Wyden (D-Ore.) told the Huffington Post on Tuesday, minutes before the Coburn amendment was introduced.
However, as Obama once again hits the road to sell health care legislation he couldn’t sell before the vote, wouldn’t Democrats want to show their political strength? Wouldn’t they want to highlight this glorious piece of life altering bliss with their purchased votes? Wouldn’t they want to correct a pesky loophole like empowering sexual predators to attack women and children?
Oddly enough, maybe not. As a New York Daily article highlights Obama basking in his health care glow victory, it also reports a CNN poll that shows Americans opposed the bill 59% to 39%…

And while the American people remain excruciatingly ignorant, according to Democrats, the GOP doesn’t want sexual predators receiving taxpayer funded Viagra for erectile dysfunction available through Obama’s health care legislation.

Among the more noteworthy votes taken so far:
Sen. Coburn’s attempt to bar Viagra for sex offenders was tabled by 57-42. Democrat Sens. Bayh and Nelson voted with the Republicans.
Sen. Vitter’s motion to repeal the Demcare takeover was tabled by 58-39.

Update 2:10am Eastern. They are now voting on the Hutchison amendment to make permanent certain sales and marriage tax provisions that were set to expire. The amendment falls, 40-55.
Oh, dear. Al Franken has taken over as presiding officer.
Update 2:43am Eastern After tabling more GOP amendments, a pale, hoarse Harry Reid calls for adjournment. Befuddled Franken announces: “I guess we’re adjourned.” Official adjournment gaveled at 2:56am Eastern.

…And Hell followed with him.
After 10 hours, the Senate voted on 28 GOP amendments and rejected each and every one, including a Vitter amendment to spare mobile mammography units from punitive tax treatment.
Um, who’s the party of no now?
Also: Guess it’s the Dems now making womanhood a “pre-existing condition” again, eh, Nancy Pelosi?
Meantime, wire services are reporting that a Senate parliamentarian ruling agreeing with GOP points of order will send the Wreckonciliation bill back to the House.
The points of order deal with Pell Grant provisions that violate budget rules. More here. Dems are characterizing the points of order as “minor.”
Question: How “minor” is it?

The Democrats TABLED the banning of Viagra for convicted rapists and pedophiles… what the hell? Are they so determined to help Obama’s “legacy” that they will sacrifice decency and common sense in this audacious bill? Obviously, yes, they will.
