ID Theft Cases: Sheriff Arpaio Raids 4 McDonald’s for Illegal Immigrants, Boston Muslim Terrorists Stealing IDs, Jihad Jane, and Lost Military ID Cards

Yes, it's real. Dinosaur statue and McDonald's in Tucson, Arizona... not one of the McD's that Sheriff Joe Arpaio raided today for illegal aliens with stolen IDs, however. I've always thought this was a cool AZ oddity and felt compelled to include it with this post.
Stolen and fake IDs are on the rise… and not necessarily for the reasons you’d first consider.
These McDonald’s raids were conducted this morning in Arizona’s Maricopa County… reported by Associated Press, via KTAR, Sheriff raids 4 McDonald’s in ID theft case:
PHOENIX – Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Friday that his deputies arrested 12 people during the raids of four Phoenix-area McDonald’s fast-food restaurants as his department continues to target illegal immigration.
Deputies armed with search warrants raided McDonald’s in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa, and a mansion in Paradise Valley on Friday morning.
Arpaio says his deputies believe more than 50 employees working at the restaurants may have used fake or stolen identities to get their jobs.
The Paradise Valley home is owned by Richard Coulston, who owns the restaurants. Deputies could be seen on local television stations swarming around Coulston’s mansion.
A call placed to the McDonald’s Corporation in Illinois was not immediately returned.
I’m sure La Raza will be showcased on the evening news, shrieking about the unfairness of it all. Unemployed American citizens, on the other hand, now know where there are some unexpected job openings.

Now for an ID theft-case-story that is even more troubling… this post was uploaded today at one of my favorite sites, HillBuzz. It’s a lengthy, intriguing story, but I’ve not included all of it, so visit the site to read the rest: Did you know Muslims stole IDs from Bally’s to use to plot terror attacks?
Last night, while we were out here in Boystown talking to people about what they thought of the Obamacare travesty, we ran into a friend of Robby’s who used to live in Boston. We started talking to him… and he told everyone the story of Beth from the New Orleans cast.
She was the girl who was supposed to be on one of the Boston to L.A. flights that hit the Twin Towers; the reason she survived was because about 20 minutes before she was supposed to leave for the airport to make her flight to California, she got into a random fight with her boyfriend that ended in a screaming match, and her refusal to keep her trip to visit him. That fight saved her life. If not for the argument, she would have boarded the plane and been one of those to die when Muslims took over the cockpit and turned the jet into a cruise missile.
The guy from Boston, Jake, then told us a 9/11 story we’d never heard before, but that we’ve checked out and it is most definitely true.
Jake used to workout at a Bally’s gym in Cambridge, near Boston. One of the personal trainers there was Muslim, and he was arrested not long after 9/11 for stealing the identities of club members. He photocopied all their member info, which included copies of their drivers’ licenses. This information was given to Muslim cells in California, where the information was used to make all sorts of fake IDs, fake passports, and the like for Muslim terrorists operating in the US.
Apparently, this guy kept his eyes open for anyone he saw who could pass as a Muslim male for future use by one of the cells. He wasn’t looking for people who looked like specific terrorists. He was just looking for dark haired guys with pictures on their IDs that were close enough to what Muslims could make themselves look like if need be.
This happened at a Bally’s.
We wonder where else this is happening. It’s not all that hard to get a job as a trainer, and apparently gain access to membership files like that.
It’s also not all that hard to get a job in Human Resources just about anywhere.
Big hotels have hundreds of people working there. Large companies might have thousands. Just imagine the goldmine of useful information Muslim terrorist networks gain access to by having moles like that trainer in these sorts of environments.

From Guardian.co.uk, Muslim convert Colleen LaRose, aka Jihad Jane, faces terror charges:
An American woman who called herself Jihad Jane has been charged over an alleged plot to murder a Swedish man.
Colleen Renee LaRose, 46, from Philadelphia, is also accused of conspiracy to provide support to terrorists, making false statements and attempted identity theft.
Irish police yesterday arrested seven people over an apparent plot to kill Lars Vilks, a Swedish cartoonist who had a bounty put on his head after depicting the prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog – though Vilks has not been named as LaRose’s alleged target.
Garda sources said the four men and three women were in their mid-20s to late-40s. Some of them arrested hold Irish citizenship and some are from the Middle East. Converts to Islam were among them, the Irish police said.
Vilks’s cartoon, drawn in 2007, prompted al-Qaida to place a $100,000 (£67,000) bounty on his head and offer a 50% bonus to anyone who slit his throat to ensure he was “slaughtered like a lamb”.
And one more story from 2004 — this from Stars and Stripes, Lost, stolen ID cards concern military officials in Europe:
More than 1,000 military identification cards are lost or stolen each month in Europe, potentially opening base gates to terrorists or setting up troops to have their identities stolen.
So far this year, U.S. Army Europe has replaced 9,600 missing or stolen cards, while U.S. Air Forces in Europe has given out about 3,000 replacement cards. The Navy — with the smallest population among the services in Europe — did not provide specific figures, but said its numbers were much lower.
Reissued cards make up about 10 percent of the IDs handed out every year, military officials said.
With the potential for terrorism looming, the issue has raised concern — particularly with the Army, although officials can’t point to a specific incident of someone trying to use a stolen ID card to gain access to a base.
“Every lost ID card can be translated into a possible unauthorized entrance to our installations and housing areas,” according to Brig. Gen. Jason Kamiya, commander of the Southern European Task Force (Airborne) in Vicenza, Italy.
Kamiya recently raised the issue in the 22nd Area Support Group’s newspaper, The Outlook. In Vicenza, 522 cards were reported missing in the first nine months of 2004, more than half belonging to active-duty personnel.
In addition to the obvious potential for unauthorized access to bases, those who lose their cards are opening themselves up to other problems.
“This can be compared to giving a stranger the keys to your house and the personal identification numbers to your personal bank accounts,” Kamiya wrote.
In the last five years, 27.3 million Americans have been victims of identity theft, including 9.9 million people in 2002 alone, according to the Federal Trade Commission.
“The information on your ID card provides possible criminals everything they need to cause you serious, and sometimes permanent, financial harm,” Kamiya wrote.
I’ve posted these links below before, but feel now is the time to post them again. Our intrepid conservative heroine, political journalist/blogger Michelle Malkin, has continually supported Maricopa County law enforcers on her blog for the thankless, never-ending job they have in slowing down criminal illegal immigration, especially because of a bogus Federal investigation (spearheaded by four Democrat members of Congress that have never lived in nor served in Arizona) that questions their motives and their character.
Malkin has posted a number of articles during the past few years describing Arizona’s border problems, illegal aliens, ICE, government’s soft or non-existent stance against illegal immigration, Obama’s illegal alien relative Auntie Zeituni, the Mexican border, DHS Janet Napolitano, and Arizona’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio (and the ongoing witch hunt led by Democrats). These are only a handful.

I just don’t know whether to be terrified for us or just plain sick.
I know that it appears bleak and frightening, SH, but knowledge is power. The more we, the American people, know about these insidious things happening right beneath our noses, the better armed we are to voice our dissent and be active in forcing the government to take notice and take action.
