Queen Pelosi’s Delusional Magical Refrigerator & Gallup Poll for Dems in the Royal Dumper: Democratic Party Image Drops to Record Low

Her Majesty Nancy Pelosi has had a satisfying week. She says that, in the course of her many travels across the country in the jet-fuel-guzzling private jet that taxpayers have unwittingly paid for her to use for whatever queenly reason she so deigns, Americans are apparently lining up to kneel at her feet and kiss her statist hem while murmuring their gratitude, telling her how very “thrilled” they are by the unconstitutional ObamaCare.
In Pelosi’s delusional left-wing universe, “I am thrilled” actually means “I despise it with every fiber in my body.”
To help America become even more “thrilled” about the trillion-dollar, government-mandated, Viagra-for-rapists-and-pedophiles, IRS-will-confiscate-your-tax-refund-or-throw-you-in-prison DemCare, Pelosi wants us to get all comfy-downhome-domestic and think of it as a magic metaphorical refrigerator with strange wires and what-not in the back of it, but open the fridge door and WOW… it’s a different path! She goes batty from that point on, including her Red Queenly assessment of the raggedy peasants clutching their tattered copies of the Constitution that the political momentum is swinging back to the Democrats.
Nancy, lay off the botox and the booze for a while. You’re making Crazy Joe Biden sound coherent and almost intelligent.
I said almost.
Meanwhile, back on Earth… the latest Gallup poll disputes Queen Nancy’s fantasy that the American people are stupid bovine critters and will soon forget all about her dirty deals and “sweetheart” bribes and threats to weak-kneed members of Congress so as to ramrod ObamaCare/DemCare through the Wonderland rabbit hole — passing it despite a gargantuan number of concerned and angry Americans calling, faxing, emailing, and protesting at tea party rallies that they DON’T want this horrible boondoggle of a bill.
This Gallup poll reveals no surprises for those who have been paying attention… Democratic Party Image Drops to Record Low:
PRINCETON, NJ — Americans’ favorable rating of the Democratic Party dropped to 41% in a late March USA Today/Gallup poll, the lowest point in the 18-year history of this measure. Favorable impressions of the Republican Party are now at 42%, thus closing the gap between the two parties’ images that has prevailed for the past four years.
Gallup last measured party images in late August/early September of last year. At that point, the Democratic Party enjoyed an 11-point favorable image advantage over the Republican Party. Now, the favorable ratings of the two parties are essentially tied.

The images of the two major parties have particular significance in a midterm election year. For example, the favorable rating of the Democratic Party exceeded that of the Republican Party by 52% to 37% just prior to the 2006 midterm elections, in which the Democrats gained 31 House seats.
Americans’ current 41% favorable rating of the Democratic Party is five points lower than the party’s previous low, recorded twice in 2005.
By contrast, the Republican Party’s image reached its all-time low of 31% in December 1998 — just after the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Bill Clinton. The Republicans’ current rating is improved from a pair of 34% ratings Gallup measured in late 2008 and in May 2009.
