POTUS Overexposure Alert: This Week, “Obama Idol”… Arrggghh

OBAMA OVEREXPOSURE (AGAIN) ALERT!
America has been subjected to Super Bowl Barack, America’s Most Wanted Obama, and in just his first 12 months in office, an unprecedented 90 TV appearances and 11 on radio on Obama Meets the Press… Again and Again and Again! (that number of TV appearances and interviews skyrocketed once he was in “ObamaCare Chicago Machine Push” mode in February and March). Who can forget his galling five appearances on five different networks — ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and UniVision — on the same Sunday back last September to push-push-push government-power-grabbing health care?
This next week, on April 21, because our TV president obviously can’t resist grandstanding in front of a camera and has never met a microphone he didn’t love, we’ll be graced with Obama Idol during the show’s two-hour charity performance.
Maybe next week, Barack will help Horatio Caine solve a serial murder in Miami, or demonstrate the best way to rid oneself of a pesky bust of Sir Winston Churchill on HGTV, or aggrandize his culinary prowess with arugula on Iron Chef. Perhaps he’ll make a surprise appearance at the Masters tournament to give Tiger Woods some golf pointers… because he’s shown how incredibly skilled he is at pitching and bowling.
Just be sure to not remind our media-hogging, overexposed president that American Idol is on that dreaded, maligned FOX network. Although, it must be noted that Obama begged Democrats to not be interviewed on FOX News just a few months before he himself granted a FOX News interview with Bret Baier. And it wasn’t a left-wing, “sing Barack praises” bunny-soft interview that he’s grown accustomed to… no, it was a REAL interview. Not pretty.
Cassy Fiano, posting at Hot Air, echoes my sentiments… Obama to appear on American Idol now?:
For cripe’s sake. This guy is just obsessed with being front-and-center. He really has got to be a part of every single facet of American life, doesn’t he? Our Narcissist-in-Chief and his lovely wife are now all set to appear on American Idol.

At least we’re warned in advance, so we can make sure not to watch that night.
Now, to be fair, George Bush appeared on American Idol as well. The difference, however, is that Bush didn’t have nearly as many prime time TV appearances as Obama does. Obama constantly is taking up space on our televisions, appearing in prime time TV specials, making late night talk show appearances… he’s obsessed with always being in the public eye. It’s ridiculous.
Let’s all pray that we don’t have to listen to Obama singing with an accompanying didgeridoo…

You know, when I heard this the other day, I thought it was a joke…. seriously. But the longer I listened to the radio thing, I realized that this was real!
This guy has done more to not elevate the office, than any other president. From all his exposure to his demeaning of Americans who do not share his ideology (the Tea Parties) to his attacks on talk radio personalities and Fox News, he has brought the office of the president to the lowest and least respected level it has ever been.
And it hasn’t stopped there.
I think that many feel like I do: I no longer respect our elected legislators either. I have come to realize that these guys are no smarter than I am and in many cases (Grayson) they are stupider. (is that a word?) I think that Obama is responsible for this loss of respect and reverence for the offices. He’s been out of his league from day 1 and his lack of class and understanding of the office, like sh*t, rolls downhill.
