It’s true — our thin-skinned, finger-pointing, dictator-hugging, America-apologizing, excuse-making Pres. Obama had a fully garbed police riot squad dispatched — not to a rioting group of pro-illegal immigration violence and mayhem, but to a peaceful tea party protest in Quincy, Illinois yesterday near where POTUS would be speaking.
As you can see from the videos and photos, most tea party attendees were well-mannered senior citizens singing patriotic songs, such as “God Bless America,” and were carrying garden-variety protest signs. Dangerous stuff here.
What’s next? Tear gas? Attack dogs? Armored tanks?
A riot police squad, Mr. President? REALLY??
Worried because radical little old ladies may be carry lethal knitting needles? Because Grandma Mabel may be packing heat? Because retired vet Uncle Albert may have swigged down an extra gulp of Geritol that morning?

Earlier today Team Obama called in the riot squad to deal with the Quincy Tea Party patriots outside the the Oakley-Lindsey/Quincy Community Center.Team Obama ordered the riot police to march in and contain the violent tea party protesters.
The police were in full riot gear when they marched in to deal with the protesters.
But, that’s not all.
They also called the riot police to the rooftops to quash the tea party mob.

First they called Tea Partiers racists. Then they called them violent. Then they threatened to infiltrate the Tea Parties. Now the President has called out the SWAT team on a group of Americans singing God Bless America.
For those unversed in the tactics of the Left, there are a couple of angles being played here.
1) They are attempting to freeze the movement and define it, so that they can ridicule it. That is classic Alinsky.
2) The Left is trying to tweak the movement and get it riled up. Why would they do this? Simple, they are doing it to probe where the most reactionary elements within the Tea Party exist so that they can target them for potential confrontation. The Left would love nothing more than to successfully provoke a physical confrontation with the Tea Party. It is the same tactic they use against the police when they try to provoke them into a violent response by taking over streets and buildings.
There is one sure fire way to make these tactics backfire on the Left, and it involves taking a page from their playbook. Whenever any Tea Party is being provoked, they should break out into song, specifically, the civil rights anthem “We Shall Overcome.”
Not only is it completely appropriate given the struggle at hand, it has the added benefit of being a song the Left thinks it owns. They will be enraged that Tea Partiers dare sing that song. They don’t want the Tea Party peacefully singing. They want them fighting in confrontation. The fact that they would be peacefully singing a song the Left feels it owns would make their heads explode.

Jim Hoft at Big Government has some pictures from a Quincy, Illinois Tea Party today. President Obama was speaking nearby about Wall Street greed, and somebody obviously thought the Tea Partiers posed a major threat, because security reinforcements were brought in.
Thank goodness the riot police showed up quickly before something serious happened. Look at these extremist maniacs!

This has to be the politest riot I ever saw. I have lived in NYC for much of my life and as such I have seen protests galore. I don’t think I ever saw one where riot police were present and people were saying “please” and “thank you”.
