C-SPAN coverage from last year… the E-verify employee hiring system program was killed by the Democrats in Congress, stripping it from the bill without discussion or debate with other congressional members.

In so doing, the Democrat party pretty much assured that illegal aliens, instead of unemployed American taxpayers and workers, would get jobs that were funded with stimulus money in the Reid/Pelosi stimulus plan.
