Stunner. The mainstream media is more than surprised as it takes note of the nation’s growing support of Arizona’s illegal immigration law — Media Research Center reports:
NBC News Political Director Chuck Todd seemed astonished by how a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll confirmed solid agreement with Arizona’s immigration enforcement law – “a whopping 64 percent support the law,” Todd marveled, “and we read them the law verbatim exactly as it’s been written” and still, he repeated, “64 percent approve of it.”
Photos and violent videos like these from pro-illegal immigration protest rallies aren’t helping illegal aliens earn any warm, fuzzy feelings from millions of American citizens who are here legally, regardless of those citizens’ race, religion, or political ideology.

While the mainstream media is devoting a great deal of coverage to the angry crowds demonstrating against Arizona’s new law, they fail to mention the fact that the majority of the protesters are not even U.S. citizens. I have yet to see a reporter pull anyone out of one of these crowds and speak to them.
Why?
My guess is, the MSM reporters know that it is unlikely the person would speak English, and that would hurt the Democrat Party’s position on the issue.
While I have yet to hear the fact that the only real opposition to tough immigration enforcement is being driven by foreign nationals, it is also never mentioned that just across the border, this type of activity would not be allowed.
The Mexican Constitution forbids non-citizens from participation in any political event, rally or demonstration. According to Mexican law: “Foreigners shall not in any way involve themselves in the political matters of the country.”
It is more than hypocritical that hordes of mostly Mexican illegal aliens come to this country without permission, demand their supposed “rights” and then call us racists and Nazis, when foreign nationals would be locked up and sent home for protesting in their own country.
Not to be outdone by his law-breaking countrymen, on Saturday, Mexican President Felipe Calderon weighed-in on Arizona’s law, by saying: “The Mexican government condemns the approval of the law and the criminalization of migration, far from contributing to collaboration and cooperation between Mexico and the state of Arizona, represents an obstacle to solving the shared problems of the border region.”
Of course, it is not “migration,” it is an invasion, and I would like to see just one American reporter ask Calderon if he would like the U.S. to simply adopt the immigration policies of his country!
Note to overpaid NBC pundits: I know you don’t get it, but every country on the planet has immigration laws. We are not unique in that regards, we are only unique in the fact that our state and federal elected officials refuse to uphold our laws. Arizona was the first to do something about it.
