Gallup: All-Time Low for Americans’ Satisfaction of Gov’t in Three Decades, Democrats “Clearly Vulnerable” in November Elections

Satisfaction in the country is at an all-time low… the lowest it’s been in a midterm year since Gallup started polling three decades ago.
Team Obama is the bottom-of-the-heap loser of all polled administrations for instilling confidence in and satisfaction with Americans, for Americans to believe the nation is headed in the right direction.

AOL News reports on the latest Gallup Poll results on Americans’ satisfaction with the government…
Gallup asks people across the U.S. every month if they’re satisfied with the way things are going in the country. So far this year, an average of only 23 percent have said they’re satisfied. That’s the lowest rating in a midterm year since the polling began three decades ago.
This helps explain the success of Washington outsiders in recent primary elections and shows that Democrats are “clearly vulnerable” to losing control of Congress this year, according to an analysis by Gallup’s Jeffrey M. Jones. Low satisfaction during a midterm election usually means a big shift in the balance of power on Capitol Hill, as happened in 1982, 1994 and 2006.

Speaking of November, how about the distraction efforts the White House is pulling with Rand Paul and the non-issue of his remarks about the civil rights legislation of 1964? Anything to distract voters from the real events unfolding in the U.S. “Look voters, we’re protecting you from the racist bad guys. Don’t worry about the economy, that’s secondary to fighting racism!”
The left is doing everything they can to paint L’il Paul with the racist brush – it’s a mirror image of the left’s efforts to portray the Arizona legislation as racist while completely avoiding the even reading the legislation or admitting that the Arizona law is no different or more far-reaching than existing Federal legislation.
