Pat Toomey (R) vs. Joe Sestak (D) in PA Senate Race: Toomey Pulling Ahead, “Sestak Scandal” & Democrats’ Growing National Debt Interviews with Hannity & Morning Joe (video)
Posted By Vicki McClure Davidson on June 8, 2010
After defeating “Benedict” Arlen Spector in the Democrat primary in Pennsylvania, Democrat Joe Sestak had a brief lead over Republican Pat Toomey, which has now evaporated.
Reported on June 4 by Rasmussen Reports:
Congressman Joe Sestak’s post-primary bounce appears to be over, and he now trails Republican rival Pat Toomey by seven points in the U.S. Senate contest in Pennsylvania.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Pennsylvania shows Toomey with 45% support, while Sestak earns 38%. Five percent (5%) prefer another candidate in the race, and 12% are undecided.
Two weeks ago, just after his widely covered primary victory over longtime Senator Arlen Specter, Sestak posted a modest four-point lead lead over Toomey.
Prior to the primary, however, Toomey tended to enjoy modest leads over Sestak.
The current polling shows that 19% of Democratic voters are undecided or prefer some other candidate. Only 7% of Republicans fall into this category. That suggests Sestak has some work remaining to unify his party following the primary battle.
Toomey spoke recently with Sean Hannity on the “Sestak Scandal” and the issues that matter to voters, like job growth in the public sector, out-of-control growth in government, serial bailouts with failing companies that taxpayers are funding, cap and trade, unprecedented federal government deficits and debt. Toomey says that the majority of Pennsylvania voters don’t want this — they want to get “their house in order” and get government spending under control.
The man talks SENSE. Pennsylvania voters, are you paying attention?

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough blasts the media’s lack of coverage on the troubling “Sestak Scandal,” calling it “media malpractice.” Toomey is interviewed about the “JobGate” scandal and the growing debt and entitlement programs in the United States that he does not support.

On a related note, check out these eye-opening (although not surprising) survey results at Another Black Conservative — this is the opening paragraph of Liberals flunk basic economics questions:
The Wall Street Journal has a very interesting Op-ed today. Daniel B. Klein and Zogby researcher Zeljka Buturovic conducted a survey of almost 5,000 adults to test the understanding of basic economic principles. They broke down the results by ideology (progressive to libertarian) and the results show that lefties don’t know diddly-squat about economics.
This explains SO much about Team Obama’s failures…
