No leg tingles, no unicorns, no “Yes We Can!” hoopla, no drooling accolades, no dewy-eyed, schoolgirl fawning.
Instead, frustrated left-wing pundits and political analysts came out swinging crazily and angrily after Pres. Obama’s ludicrous, half-baked speech tonight on the Gulf oil spill crisis.
The Messiah has fallen from grace in the eyes of his liberal media worshippers.
WOW. Pinch me, I think I’m dreaming.
Hopenchange is close to dead at MSNBC, methinks.
Here’s their hard-hitting commentary… no point in inserting Obama’s speech — it was the usual blah blah blah, more taxes, blah blah blah, BP’s fault, blah blah blah, we’ll form a blue-ribbon commission, blah blah blah. No answers, no direction, no concrete information. It totally sucked.
And Obama didn’t even have a straw…
My favorite line was one of the opening one’s from Keith Olbermann:
“It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”
Ouch.
The trio of liberal analysts are just now figuring out what conservatives have known for over a year… Barack Obama is an ineffectual president who is all talk and no walk.
There was mocking of “Nobel Prize” winners, Obama’s lack of leadership, lack of details and specificity, lack of chain of command, lack of clarity, and oh, dear, so much, much more.

Highlights offered by Real Clear Politics:
Olbermann: “It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”
Matthews compared Obama to Carter.
Olbermann: “Nothing specific at all was said.”
Matthews: “No direction.”
Howard Fineman: “He wasn’t specific enough.”
Olbermann: “I don’t think he aimed low, I don’t think he aimed at all. It’s startling.”
Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a “commander-in-chief.”
Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. “I’ll barf if he does it one more time.”
Matthews: “A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk.”
Matthews: “I don’t sense executive command.”
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit did an excellent job tonight in live updating, dissecting and exposing Obama’s bizarre fallacies, shameless mistruths (cough*lies*cough), and blatant errors in tonight’s “oil spill crisis/we need to tax America to death on energy” speech… here’s just the first “mistruth” exposed:
Two vacations, a half dozen parties, and several rounds of golf later, Barack Obama finally addresses the nation on the BP oil spill.
Lie #1: We’re drilling in deepwater because we’re running out of places to drill.
Not True.
For decades, Democrats have blocked efforts to responsibly develop this nation’s energy resources, transforming vast areas of opportunity into “The No Zone.”
Over the past 30 years:
Democrats have blocked the development of new sources of petroleum.
Democrats have blocked drilling in ANWR.
Democrats have blocked drilling off the coast of Florida.
Democrats have blocked drilling off of the east coast.
Democrats have blocked drilling off of the west coast.
Democrats have blocked drilling off the Alaskan coast.
Democrats have blocked building oil refineries.
Democrats have blocked clean nuclear energy production.
Democrats have blocked clean coal production.But, they’re funding projects in Brazil.
Charles Krauthammer was actually kinder in his appraisal than Olbermann, Matthews, and Howard Fineman were. Sorta.
“The government is inherently uncoordinated,” Krauthammer said.

I agree – the majority of liberal morons who voted for him don’t pay attention to the news… all they know is that Obama wants to give them “free stuff.”
It’s going to get worse for The One as the oil continues to spew… and Obama goes golfing.
Well, he actually only tied his lowest number.
I’m still shocked at his level of support. Not by the 25% or so who will support 0 no matter what he does, but by the remaining +/- 20% who seem to hang on after all the anti-American insults, anti-capitalist policies, pro-jihadi actions, complete incompetence in spending, handling unemployment, the economy, and the oil spill, plus the obvious corruption, thuggery, government theft (bailouts, unions), lack of transparency, and lying.
Well said, dear friend… while I have faith in the majority of Americans, I’m appalled that there is a still a hefty percentage who lack any kind of deductive reasoning or intelligence to evaluate what is going on and see the consistent pattern of a progressive-socialist who is in over his head, has an anti-Constitution agenda. When Olbermann, a zealous card-carrying liberal, disses The One, you know that Team Obama is in trouble.
