Obama’s $13 Trillion Debt: US Federal Debt at Highest Percentage Level Since World War II, Must Blame the Leftist “JournoList” for Its Involvement in Hiding Truth

This is what happens when the federal government tries to foolishly spend itself out of debt.
It makes the debt worse.
Much worse.
And then, rather than let the market correct itself or cut taxes, as advised by many economists and proven historically to work, Team Obama goes into spastic “frat boys with Daddy’s credit card” overdrive and spends MORE. And MORE. And MORE.
We are now at the highest level of national debt since WWII.
Tell that to Captain Teleprompter in the Oval Office.
How did we get to this point? Why didn’t most of America know?
You can slam a heaping portion of blame on the left-wing media for burying or distorting the truth. Members of the Obama-adoring, America-despising, free-market-killing, left-wing “JournoList” have dirty hands in this ruination. By glossing over and covering up The One’s multitude of failures and attacking those who disagree with his socialist-progressive agenda, they stopped being protectors of the public, scrutinizers of the government, the courageous sentinels of the truth — they instead became accomplices.
These “deep in bed with the government” media-biased hacks have consistently whitewashed Obama’s track record, sung undeserved praises, hidden information about ObamaCare, and have never been America’s watchdogs of the government as they’ve been during administrations past.
As we expect them to be.
The left-wing media has zealously protected the Obama administration from damaging criticism, helped keep the “O” hype up, mocked or maligned those who were not in lockstep and could threaten the “Obama spell” (think about what the media still does to tear apart Sarah Palin and her family, as well as tea party attendees), and in so doing, helped drag America down the sewer of escalating national debt, unemployment, and all the other miseries of progressive-socialism.

These statist miscreants have participated in one of the biggest journalistic frauds in all of US history. Blaming Bush has only been a tiny portion of the scam.

From USA Today, National debt soars to highest level since WWII:
The federal debt will represent 62% of the nation’s economy by the end of this year, the highest percentage since just after World War II, according to a long-term budget outlook released today by the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office.
“The driver of this debt is spending,” said New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg, the top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee. “Our existing debt will be worsened by the president’s new health care entitlement programs…as well as an explosion in existing health care and retirement entitlement spending as the Baby Boomers retire.”
At the end of 2008, the debt equaled about 40 % of the nation’s annual economic output, according to the CBO.
The report comes as the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform meets today. The group, created by President Obama, is expected to issue recommendations in December to curb the debt – a point Democrats raised today.

Unable to deliver more stimulus spending for President Barack Obama, Democrats in Congress are trying at least to restore jobless benefits for 1.3 million laid-off workers.
House Democrats moved toward a vote Wednesday evening on a bill that would extend unemployment benefits for people who have been laid off for long stretches through the end of November. Senate Democrats are planning a similar vote Thursday evening, before Congress goes on a weeklong Independence Day recess.
Without an extension, every week a new 200,000 of the nearly 7 million people who have been without a job for at least six months will lose their unemployment benefits. About 1.3 million have already lost benefits since the last extension ran out at the end of May, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis said.
“We have a basic responsibility to help our constituents respond to emergencies,” said Reid, D-Nev. “We have a fundamental obligation not to deny them the help they need when they need it the most.”
Congressional Democrats began the year with an aggressive agenda of passing a series of bills designed to create jobs. Only one has become law, offering tax breaks to companies that hire unemployed workers. Others stalled as lawmakers, after hearing from angry voters, became wary of adding to the national debt, which stands at $13 trillion.

And, the Obama-media continues to be shocked with the rise in the jobless rate.
Initial claims for unemployment benefits rose last week for the second time in three weeks, a sign that layoffs are rising.
The Labor Department says new claims for jobless benefits jumped by 13,000 to a seasonally adjusted 472,000. Analysts expected a small drop, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.
Greater layoffs by construction firms contributed to the increase, a Labor Department analyst said. Home sales slumped last month after the expiration of a popular homebuyer tax credit. Summer layoffs in many school districts also added to the total.
The number of people continuing to claim benefits rose by 43,000 to 4.6 million, the department said. But the number of people collecting extended benefits fell by 376,000, as lawmakers have refused to continue the extra aid.

I am not anti-Obama or an Obama supporter. However, let’s get one thing straight: It is not “Obama’s $13 Trillion Dollar Debt. He’s been in a year and he’s spending like he’s got an endless supply of money, yes. But the well was dry before he got thirsty. Let’s stop the grade school bully bullshit and take some responsibility for our greed and selfishness. Get your ranting all out and get busy making a positive difference in the lives of your children. Stop supporting stupid idiots of all political parties that do not understand that the job of an elected official is to represent all, not just those who support them.
