'Jersey Shore' co-star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi arrested in NJ for disorderly conduct
Not a good week for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore.” Pres. Barack Obama told the gals on “The View” he didn’t know who Snooki was or what a Snooki was — something like that — and now, the diminutive co-star of the popular MTV reality cable show has been arrested in New Jersey for disorderly conduct.
Some sources are saying she was drunk AND disorderly.

‘Jersey Shore’ premiered last night to its highest ratings yet, and today the show is getting another publicity boost. TMZ is reporting that breakout star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was arrested this afternoon in Seaside Heights, N.J. for disorderly conduct.
Though there are photos of the handcuffed star being escorted by police, there is no word on what led to the arrest.
Legal troubles are nothing new for the cast. Last season, Ronnie Magro was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after an altercation on the boardwalk turned violent.
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola was involved in an altercation in a Miami nightclub when the cast was filming the current season earlier this year, but avoided prosecution for misdemeanor battery after leaving the city. A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Attorney’s office said in a statement, “When we investigated the case and spoke to all the witnesses, we did feel there was probable cause to charge to her with misdemeanor battery. However she’s out of jurisdiction … If they’re out, we’re not going to expend the money to go and find them. But if she ever comes back, we’ll definitely revisit the matter.”

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) — A “Jersey Shore” cast member has been arrested in the New Jersey town where the MTV show is based.
Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd says Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was arrested on the beach around 3:25 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. That came after other beachgoers reported Polizzi was bothering them.
Polizzi was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released on a summons.
MTV spokeswoman Emily Yeomans declined comment on the arrest, which came one day after the premiere of the show’s second season.
Telephone messages left for SallyAnn Salsano, executive producer of “Jersey Shore” production company 495 Productions, and Pam LaLima, co-executive producer, were not immediately returned.
In all fairness to the tiny co-star, Obama did mention Snooki in a previous speech a while back. But that just goes to show that POTUS doesn’t remember much after reading from TOTUS, as shown in the video below.

Pint-sized Jersey Shore reality personality Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was pinched on a charge of disorderly conduct by the fuzz in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on Friday.
The country can’t get enough of all the antics of the cast of the hit reality show. And with taping for Season 3 underway in the Garden State resort it appears the drama is once again heating up. TMZ.com has the scoop: “Law enforcement sources tell us the Seaside Heights PD busted Snooki moments ago for disorderly conduct. The details of that conduct are unclear.”
Details of what led to the arrest of the diminutive barfly are currently unclear, but the entertainment blog has photos of Snooki pouring what appeared to be Coca-Cola into a beer bong on the Seaside Heights boardwalk just moments before her arrest.

Thursday’s second season premiere of MTV’s Jersey Shore drew an impressive 5.3 million viewers, up from last year’s debut of 4.8 million.

Always outrageous, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi allegedly took things too far this time.
The petite reality star, 22, of Jersey Shore was being booked by the Seaside Heights, N.J., police department Friday after she was seen intoxicated in public, a police source confirms. Meanwhile, the cameras on her popular MTV reality show were rolling too.
Polizzi was expected to be charged with disorderly conduct, another source says.
She didn’t hurt anyone or get in a fight,” says the second source. “She just needs to be in a drunk tank for two hours.”
A rep for the show declined to comment.
