Oh, my.
They BOOED. The Boy Scouts actually BOOED.
Maybe Pres. Barack Obama should have rescheduled his adoring talk-fest with the women on The View for another time and not blown off the highly anticipated, once-in-a-lifetime 100th anniversary of the Boy Scout Jamboree… ya think?
Boy Scouts have long memories, Mr. President. And for the thousands attending the centennial Jamboree who booed your last-minute taped video message because you preferred to yuck it up with shrill, leftist harpies like the detestable Joy Behar, I have only one thing to say: these boys will all be of voting age sooner than you think.
Hope Joy Behar drooling all over you was worth it.
Doug Powers, blogging at Michelle Malkin’s spot, wrote this about it… Obama’s Recorded Message to Boy Scouts Centennial Wasn’t Warmly Received:
Every US president since William Howard Taft has served as the honorary president of the Boys Scouts of America. President Obama accepted his role as honorary president in March of last year. So as you know, when the 100th anniversary of the Boys Scouts came along late last month, Obama decided to… go on The View instead. Hey, when you’re down 14 points with women, an American institution like the Boy Scouts will just have to wait.
However, Obama did record a message that was broadcast to the 43,000 Boy Scouts in attendance at the National Jamboree in Virginia.
This is footage from just one sliver of the crowd, but it doesn’t appear that Obama’s pre-recorded message was warmly received that day:
So many bad calls, so many bad decisions, so many shady backroom deals, so much secrecy, so much vitriol spewed… trust in this “Chicago politics” administration is melting away like sugar cubes in the rain.
Between POTUS Barack blowing off the Boy Scouts for a TV show, FLOTUS Michelle cavorting like royalty and spending untold amounts of taxpayer dollars through Spain during her glitzy, “Material Girl” vacation, the economy worse than it’s been in three decades and unemployment at 9.5%, two high-profile Democrat members of Congress (Waters [D-CA] and Rangle [D-NY]) up on multiple ethics violations charges, the former Democrat governor of Illinois about to find out if he’s headed for prison for corruption, a socialized, government health care plan that will cost trillions and the majority of Americans do not want, the CBO announcing America is headed for a fiscal crisis, and incumbents in the Democrat party losing primary elections like falling dominoes, the Democrat party is falling apart.
Fast.
As is America.

I wish he had attended the event, it would have been a very good and smart thing to do. I really hope the scouts did not boo him as the office deserves respect.
