Latino Indignation: Dr. Alvarez Fires Back at Sen. Reid for His Insult to Hispanics, Suggesting That Latinos Are Stupid (video)

I previously posted part of Dr. Manny Alvarez’s post on how insulting he found Sen. Harry Reid’s comment about Hispanics being stupid if they were Republicans.
Dr. Alvarez, a conservative who doesn’t usually discuss his politics, fires with both barrels at the senator’s racial insensitivity and his ignorance about how a majority of Latinos feel about the Constitution and America, how the House leader’s race-tinged remarks suggest Reid believes that Hispanics are “too stupid” or are “mentally challenged” if they choose to not be Democrats.
As the doctor points out in the video below, he and his Latino friends left the socialism and oppression of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavéz years ago. His father left Cuba and after coming to America, was a registered Republican all his life. Dr. Alvarez said most Latinos are not of a mindset for government handouts and blindly accepting liberal ideologies. Rather, they share the same values and concerns about the country as do millions of other conservatives of all races. Many Hispanics are also concerned about our growing illegal immigration problems and our nation’s unsecured borders.
Sen. Harry Reid, in his clumsy effort to pigeonhole all Latinos and to win their votes for his congressional seat in the November election, has further alienated them.
