Considering the rabid hate that many Muslims have expressed, without remorse or shame, against Jews and Israel, for them to now declare that those who want the Ground Zero Mega Mosque to be built at another location is much like being anti-Semitic is beyond despicable.
Some pertinent Q&A…
How many synagogues or churches or cathedrals are built in Mecca or Medina in Saudi Arabia? Zero.
How many Jews are permitted to live in Mecca or Medina? Zero.
How many Jews or other non-Muslims are permitted to enter or travel through Mecca or Medina? Zero.
How many mosques are already in New York City? More than 100 and that number is growing. In 1970, there were ten.
No one has expressed hate toward Muslims nor has opposed yet another mosque be built in New York City… the opposition is to WHERE this gigantic “Victory Mosque” will be built. Less than a 3-minute walk to the hallowed grounds of the 9/11 World Trade Center Ground Zero site — where 3,000 innocent Americans were murdered in the World Trade Center by radical Muslims.
From Wall Street Journal, Mosque Planner Says Opposition Goes ‘Beyond Islamophobia’:
WASHINGTON—A leader of a planned Muslim community center near Manhattan’s Ground Zero compared opposition to the project to the persecution of Jews, in comments that could add to the controversy over the center’s proposed site.
“We are deeply concerned, because this is like a metastasized antisemitism,” said Daisy Khan, who is spearheading the project with her husband, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. “It’s beyond Islamophobia. It’s hate of Muslims.”
Ms. Khan, appearing on ABC News’s “This Week” on Sunday, vowed to push ahead with plans to build a 15-story complex two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in lower Manhattan, saying there was “too much at stake.”
The words could further inflame an already angry debate about the proposed location of the community center, which opponents denounce as a “victory mosque.” Rival protests for and against the $100 million center were planned in lower Manhattan on Sunday.
Some politicians, including New York Governor David Paterson, have called for the project to be moved further away from the area where the World Trade Center collapsed. On Sunday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) also suggested the mosque’s location should be changed.
“I hope the people of New York, who can actually make the decision, will take into account public opinion not only locally but around the country,” he said in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
Ms. Khan said planners weren’t considering moving the center, but she didn’t rule out the option. “Right now it’s not (being considered) until we consult with all our stakeholders.”

This Ground Zero mega mosque is not in the interest of America or New Yorkers, and more Americans are learning the truth about the motives of those behind it. Many Muslims are also speaking out against it.
You’re right about the egg recall — it’s downright scary. I’m a big fan of eggs, so the recall hits close to home for me, as it does for millions of other Americans. Salmonella is potentially fatal. Breakfast with death… an investigation needs to be launched into these egg farms.
Believe me, I was checking your egg updates against the brands we have in the fridge Thankfully, no problem.
